The “dirty” truth about your home’s AIR QUALITY
You come INSIDE your home to get a reprieve from the ALLERGENS…
Or, to simply cool off and breathe in some COOL air.
But what if I told you that the air INSIDE of your home could be filled with all sorts of harmful POLLUTANTS?!
I know it seems unlikely – even crazy – but new findings could change everything you thought you knew about your home’s air quality…
And how it can affect your HEALTH.
Here’s what you need to know… and some tricks to effectively clean the air inside your home.
An eye-opening British study has revealed what many of DON’T know…
That 2 in 3 adults don’t realize how UNHEALTHY the air inside our homes could be!
We all know that sometimes outdoor air – particularly in urban areas – can contain all kinds of pollutants, dust, and allergens.
But it turns out what most folks don’t know are that there are a number of air particles INSIDE the home – like candles, pet hair, and even air fresheners – that can circulate pollutants 24/7.
Moreover, the study found that most aren’t aware of the health risks that breathing in dirty, indoor air can cause – including lung cancer and heart disease.
The study also found that most folks simply opt for opening a window to freshen the air in their homes. But the problem with that is, it could be exacerbating the problem by letting in OUTDOOR pollutants.
Now, air quality isn’t something you can always control… so what’s the solution? Wear a mask? (Who wants to do that AGAIN?!)
Fortunately, there are easy steps you can take to keep air as clean, and pollutant-free as possible.
One of the best things you can do to improve air quality in your home is investing in an air purifier. Air purifiers can help eliminate dust, debris, and other harmful particles… and many models these days run very quietly and efficiently so you’re not surrounding by loud noises.
You should also regularly change the air filters in your home’s heating and cooling system. Home improvement stores sell all kinds of quality air filters that help trap pollutants from going through the vents in your home.
And – with the official start of summer just next month – it’s a great time to be proactive and change your filters, especially as your start using your home’s air conditioning more frequently.
To the cleanest air possible,
