Busted! Study reveals why VEGAN diets are JUNK
Folks, if you’re reading this and you happen to practice a VEGAN lifestyle…
I’m here to tell you that today’s eAlert isn’t intended to be a personal jab…
But, put simply, I’m not a fan of the vegan DIET.
For starters, this diet voids your body of many valuable vitamins… minerals… proteins… and fats…
All of which are critical to your long-term health.
Sure, it may feel good to go “vegan.” But in reality, that could come at the cost of your health.
And for me that’s a big: NO, THANKS!
And if you remain unconvinced, then you’ll want to check out this latest study out of Austria. It’s smoking gun proof that these sanctimonious diets are literally nothing but JUNK!
Researchers at the Medical University of Vienna (MUV) FINALLY have debunked the perception that veganism is inherently healthy.
How?
Well, turns out that more than HALF of all vegans consume a diet filled with processed meat alternatives, sweets, and snacks.
Now, don’t shoot the messenger… but the study labeled these people as “convenience vegans.”
(But I couldn’t agree more with that name.)
Because these are the vegans that eat MORE processed fish and meat alternatives, vegan savory snacks, sauces, cakes, sweets, convenience foods, fruit juices, and refined grains.
Bottom line? Just because it’s labelled a vegan “diet” sure doesn’t always mean it’s GOOD for you.
And this latest study proves it!
Look, I’m not saying you shouldn’t make fruits and veggies a staple of your everyday diet. In fact, they need to be a large part of your diet if you really want a healthy, balanced, diet.
But the simple fact is, NOT eating animal protein just isn’t worth it for your long-term health.
Did you know that vegans have significantly lower levels of ubiquinol than folks who eat meat regularly.
Ubiquinol is a vital compound and nutrient that promotes heart health by providing your body with the energy needed to power your heart.
But a lack of ubiquinol could lead to:
- Fatigue
- Muscle issues
- A weakened immune system, and
- Increase your risk for other age-related diseases…
Is that really worth it? I personally don’t think so!
Bottom line… stick to a diet of clean animal proteins, fruits, veggies, and nuts and you’re going to be just fine.
And, nobody will judge you for it!
