Remember this popular advertising slogan back in the 90s?

Beef. It’s What’s For Dinner.

I still remember it – along with the catchy background music of those iconic commercials that made you want to throw a juicy steak on the grill.

But fast forward to today, and you’re going to find more and more ad campaigns blasting that you SHOULDN’T eat meat!

From beef ‘alternatives’… to all kinds of trendy, plant-based diets…

It’s almost like eating meat has become taboo!

And listen, there’s plenty to like about eating your fruits, vegetables, and other ‘non-meat’ options…

But I can assure you that NOT eating meat could cause you some serious health complications down the road.

Don’t believe me?

Then check out this mind-blowing research …

According to an international study based out of Belgium and Japan, vegetarians and vegans have significantly lower levels of ubiquinol than folks who eat meat regularly.

What’s ubiquinol?

Ubiquinol is a vital compound and nutrient that promotes heart health by helping your body provide energy needed to power your heart.

But a lack of ubiquinol could lead to:

  • Fatigue
  • Muscle issues
  • A weakened immune system, and
  • Increase your risk for other age-related diseases…

And folks who decide to NOT eat meat are putting themselves right in the cross hairs of those ailments.

But by how much, exactly?

The study found that plant eaters on average had 23% LESS ubiquinol than meat eaters!

Now, this isn’t to say that you should be eating multiple hamburgers a day…  or that you SHOULDN’T eat your healthy helpings of fruits and vegetables.

But it is pointing out that eating meat ISN’T bad and that it’s a vital part of staying healthy, especially as you age.

This is also not to say that a plant-based diet is necessarily bad, either. But, limiting yourself to only non-meat foods can cause some deficiencies with vital nutrients.

Eating organic, grass-fed meats is a great way to get vital nutrients in your body without worrying about unnatural by-products or hormones… and many can be found in your local grocery store.

You can also find grass-fed meats at many farms or butcher shops in your area.

There are also plenty of food delivery services that specialize in organic meats. For instance, ButcherBox delivers grass-fed beef, free-range chicken, and even wild-caught fish like salmon straight to your door… along with easy recipes.

To the meat life,
