Scientists just unlocked a “mystery” ANTI-CANCER herb

Scientists have known something was there… but just couldn’t quite put their finger on it!

But thanks to new collaborative research conducted by Chinese and British scientists, it looks like they’ve finally answered the age-old question of HOW barbed skullcap can ZAP cancer…

And it highlights the genes that make up the biochemical pathway behind the anti-cancer activity of the herb.

According to the new study on barbed skullcap recently published in the journal Molecular Plant, sophisticated DNA sequencing has determined that the herb creates a compound known as scutebarbatine A, which fights against numerous varieties of cancer cells.

The researchers noted the significance of scutebarbatine A, stating that it has activity against cancer cells but not NON-cancer cells – meaning it directly fights cancerous cells, but doesn’t attack healthy cells.

In TCM, barbed skullcap must be boiled in water for a period of two hours. Once that happens, the extract is dried to produce a powder, mixed with water where it can be taken as a concentrated liquid.

But now that scientists have identified barbed skullcap’s unique cancer-killing abilities, they hope to next begin the process of breaking it down, synthesizing it, and utilizing it as vehicle for attacking cancer cells in place of chemo or radiation.

There’s still a lot more work – and study – to be done on barbed skullcap and cancer.

But ANY news around a natural way to stop cancer is something we’re going to be all over… and will continue to monitor as more findings are released.
