There’s no getting around it.

We all deal with aches and pains – especially as we age.

And even if you’re in tip-top shape, dealing with the occasional joint or muscle pain is something n can completely avoid.

But relieving the pain? Well, that’s a whole other story!

Popping over-the-counter (OTC) painkillers are a popular choice… or cutting back on your physical activity to give your body some repair time seems like the right approach…

But I’ve got some surprising news on how you can achieve a pain-free life naturally…

Without dialing back your workload!

Here me out…

A study published in the journal PLOS ONE found that exercising HARDER can help fend off chronic, long-term musculoskeletal pain.

You read that correctly…

Upping your exercise intensity can help decrease pain!

Now I’m not telling you to become a body builder, so don’t skip reading on just yet…

You see, while intense physical activity can lead to short-term muscle aches and pains, the study found that incorporating some ‘rigorous’ activity into your life can lower your risk of developing long-term musculoskeletal pain.

“Rigorous” simply means incorporating activities like jogging, cycling, or even rowing just once a week – coupled with regular, moderate activities like walking or stretching – helps your body maintain a healthy weight and eliminate stress on your joints.

And the less stress you have on your joints, the less pain you’ll feel in the long run!

Again, it’s important to note that the findings of this study are not suggesting that you engage in an exercise program that leaves you constantly tired and fatigued.

It just means that to maximize your body’s ability to stay pain-free, you should work to ‘up’ the intensity of YOUR own personal activity every now and again.

For instance, if your current exercise program consists of walking frequently, consider adding some extra distance to your walk, or even jogging, one day a week.

If you’re not currently on an exercise program, be sure to talk to your doctor before starting anything.

To eliminating pain naturally,

Sarah Reagan
