Visit the doc these days, and he’ll ZERO IN on just a couple of “measurements” of your health.

He’ll take your blood pressure… he’ll test your blood sugar…

And he’ll run a lipid panel.

Unfortunately, too many docs are HYPERFOCUSED on total cholesterol… and not tuned in to the finer nuances of the different types of cholesterol.

So, if your cholesterol is “high”… you can bet he’ll be scribbling off a prescription for a statin.

But those drugs don’t DISCRIMINATE between your “bad” and “good” cholesterol.

They lower them BOTH!

And going “gung-ho” on bringing those numbers down can have DEVASTATING consequences.

I’ve already shared with you how ultra-low levels of LDL (or “bad”) cholesterol have been associated with deadly brain bleeds

But now, there’s a shocking link between depleted HDL (or “good”) cholesterol and one of the most debilitating neurodegenerative diseases out there.

Here’s why it’s time to stop NEEDLESSLY… RECKLESSLY… and ARTIFICIALLY lowering your cholesterol with drugs!

Why low cholesterol should be a no-go

The latest research out of Korea showed a higher incidence of Parkinson’s disease among seniors to be linked to lower levels of HDL cholesterol.

Now, this wasn’t some little study — but a HUGE group of over 380,000 older folks over age 65.

NONE of them had ANY history with Parkinson’s at the beginning of the study…

But over the course of a 5-year follow-up, those with HDL levels below 40 mg/dL were more likely to be diagnosed with the disease than those with HDL levels above 60 mg/dL.

Now, we don’t know exactly WHY low HDL may help predict the risk for developing Parkinson’s disease…

But we do know that HDL got its “good” reputation by acting as an antioxidant and anti-inflammatory.

In fact, sufficient HDL levels could help BEAT BACK the oxidation of LDL cholesterol!

And as I’ve shared with you before, you generally only need to worry about your LDL if it’s oxidized.

Plus, prior research has revealed a link between statin use and an increased risk in developing Parkinson’s

And according to a 2017 study out of Penn State, taking statins may hit the gas pedal on the disease’s onset!

Listen, if you’re at risk for Parkinson’s… you want to DELAY the symptoms for as long as possible…

Not SPEED them up!

Now, that doesn’t mean you should take a “hands-off” approach to your cholesterol. It is possible to UPGRADE your lipid profile.

Some of your options for OPTIMIZING the balance between your HDL and LDL cholesterol types include niacin… an olive extract called HXT… and hibiscus.

To blowing the lid off cholesterol misinformation,
