A new benefit to taking ASPIRIN? (Not so fast!)
It seems like the mainstream has been beating it into our heads for YEARS…
Claiming that a low-dose ASPIRIN is good for your heart.
And just when numerous studies finally came debunking the whole aspirin/heart health connection…
A NEW headline about aspirin’s health benefits just hit the news cycle.
This one is going to grab a lot of people’s attention… but today we’re telling you WHY you’ll still want to steer clear of aspirin.
A new Australian study says that a low-dose aspirin could prevent adults from developing DIABETES.
The findings, which are set to be presented in early October at the Annual Meeting of the European Association for the Study of Diabetes (EASD), says that low-dose (100mg daily) aspirin among adults over 65 could lower the risk of developing type 2 diabetes by 15%.
That’s a heck of a glossy headline. But there’s more to the story…
You see, the study authors clearly noted that: There’s still plenty of strong evidence that patients should take aspirin with caution and moderation.
It makes you kind of wonder why they are presenting this, doesn’t it?
Frankly, taking a low-dose aspirin is doing your health zero favors. Not only does it not protect your heart, but recent studies also point to taking a daily aspirin upping your chances of becoming ANEMIC—a serious iron deficiency.
And as for diabetes prevention? Well, you don’t need to take a THING to stop it.
Eating healthy—like the Paleo lifestyle—can lower your risk of type 2 diabetes. The only thing you’ll be taking is a mouthful of delicious, natural food!
