Is it me, or has eating MEAT become taboo these days?

It’s like the very thought of eating a juicy STEAK, mouthwatering CHICKEN, or even fresh FISH make you a terrible person…

Or, at the least, a very UNHEALTHY one!

Think what you want about us “carnivores”, but there are a slew of studies that confirm that eating meat isn’t going to wreck your health!

But if you’re still not convinced, today I have a new study that confirms why NOT consuming meat isn’t only backwards…

It could also turn deadly!

A recent study published in the journal BMC Medicine says men and women who live a vegetarian lifestyle have a greater risk of suffering a HIP FRACTURE compared to meat eaters.

How much greater?

According to this latest study, it’s to the tune of a 50% HEIGHTENED RISK!

How’s that for food for thought?!

And hip fracture risk is nothing to scoff at. Even “small” hip fractures can land you in the hospital, limit your overall long-term mobility, and can lead to additional falls and/or fractures that could cause death.

The researchers behind this study looked at over 400,000 participants, and cross-referenced those with hospital records noting hip fractures.

While the overall number of folks in the study who did suffer hip fractures was fairly low (just over 3,500), it was the hip fracture risk for non-meat eaters that stood out.

The vegetarians had a 50% greater risk than regular meat-eaters, regardless of sex.

If you are a vegetarian, this isn’t intended to be a personal jab. There’s plenty to love about eating fruits and vegetables as they are some of the best things you can eat for your overall health and well-being.

The key takeaway here is ensuring you get enough protein—which is vital for a healthy body. And animal protein is one of the best sources.

Protein helps support strong muscles and joints, which can lower your risk of falls and any fractures associated with said falls.

Remember, your diet is your choice and you should make the best decision for yourself. But, remember, eating meat isn’t all bad…

In fact, it can be lifesaving!

To eating meat,
