In sickness and in health…

Till death do us part…

We’re all familiar with those traditional wedding vows.

Now, an international research study is putting a whole new spin on marriage – insisting that it’s going to make you much “healthier”.

But, regardless of your marital status, I’ve got some no-nonsense advice that’s going to do WONDERS for your health.

A study published in BMJ Open Diabetes Research & Care insists there is a new benefit exclusively for married couples…

Marriage may PREVENT type 2 diabetes!

A team of scientists from Luxembourg and Canada concluded that individuals, particularly those over 50, tend to take better care of their health if they’re married

And even went so far as to observe that both husbands and wives exhibited LOWER blood sugar levels, which decreased by 0.21% on average.

This figure was statistically significant in comparison to individuals who were single due to preference, death, or divorce.

Sure, there have been many studies pointing to the health benefits of marriage. Spouses are held more accountable… make better choices… and tend to stay more active. All of which can lessen your risk of disease.

But OF COURSE, being married isn’t a fool-proof reason to prevent diabetes!

You know what is?

Laying off the sugar and junk that are the centerpieces of the typical Western diet! People of all walks of life (and relationship status) are lowering their risk of diabetes – and in many cases sending it into remission – just by eating better and laying off the crap!

And it goes without saying, staying active is also going to do wonders for your blood sugar.
