There’s been a lot of time… money… and effort put into MANUFACTURING cancer drugs

But I keep saying the cure for cancer is ALREADY out there in nature.

And there’s likely more than one.

When we FIND it… the story doesn’t end there.

Because we’ve got to CONVINCE the mainstream to let cancer patients USE it!

And if you’ve been following my eAlerts for a while now, you know that it’s possible we’ve ALREADY found what we need to make cancer DISAPPEAR.

Now, there’s a recent development in science that may TURN THE TIDE on a naturally-derived cancer-killing compound.

Here’s the surprising source of hope for cancer patients… and why it’s finally starting to step into the spotlight.

A surprise in store

There’s a type of creepy-looking invertebrate marine creature that may hold the key to beating back cancer.

It’s a sea squirt known by the scientific name Aplidium albicans… found only in the Mediterranean Sea, near the Spanish islands of Mallorca and Ibiza.

From it, scientists out of Spain extracted a potential cancer-killing compound called aplidin.

That was all the way back in 1990…

And in a 2016 study, aplidin helped reduce the risk of cancer progression or mortality by 35%, compared to dexamethasone alone.

Needless to say, progression-free survival would be a MUCH BETTER outcome for those cancer patients who are merely hoping to SLOW progression or DELAY death!

Now, this sea squirt substance has pretty limited use so far in cancer treatments anywhere in the world – except Australia, where the government approved its use in patients with recurrent multiple myeloma in 2018.

But in that country, its approval stipulates that it can only be used in combination with dexamethasone, which on its own is a standard treatment approach for multiple myeloma.

And only CERTAIN multiple myeloma patients are approved to use it – specifically, those whose cancer has RETURNED after already being treated with 2 other classes of drugs (a proteasome inhibitor and an immunomodulator).

Aplidin appears to work by reducing the effects of a protein called eEF1A2, which promotes a cancer cell’s ability to reproduce and spread.

And in prior studies, this compound has shown antitumor action in multiple types of cancer – including pancreatic, stomach, bladder, prostate, lymphoma, and blood cancers.

That certainly SOUNDS promising…

But for now, the only way to get it is through a Spanish pharmaceutical company called PharmaMar, which has created a synthetic version of aplidin… sold under the name plitidepsin.

There is, however, a surprising plot twist that may help make plitidepsin more widely available to those who might benefit from it.

Researchers are studying how the drug might help INHIBIT the novel coronavirus that causes COVID-19!

And it’s already in Phase III trials.

Now, we don’t yet know whether sea squirts could hold the key to SOLVING the coronavirus pandemic.

But if it’s enough to get the mainstream media excited about these slimy sea creatures… ones that could help CHANGE THE GAME for certain cancer patients… I’m all for it.

Keep your eye on this one!

Meet the Health Sciences Institute

The Health Sciences Institute (HSI) is an independent organization established in 1998. We’re dedicated to uncovering and researching the most urgent advances in modern underground medicine. Things you WON’T hear about in the mainstream.

Whether they come from a laboratory in Malaysia, a clinic in South America, or a university in Germany, our goal is to bring the treatments that work directly to the people who need them. We alert our Members to exciting breakthroughs in medicine, show them exactly where to go to learn more, and help them understand how they and their families can benefit from these powerful discoveries.
