Today, I’m going to ask you a question – one that you might find a little embarrassing.

When is the last time you POOPED with ease?

I’m talking about really EMPTYING your bowels in one fell swoop…

And standing up from the toilet feeling LIGHTER THAN AIR

Instead of WEIGHED DOWN and uncomfortable.

You might not even be able to REMEMBER how long it’s been since you felt totally FREE from constipation.

And maybe it was a long time ago that you just accepted that your bowel movements were going to be DIFFICULT from now on.

Holy hemp

One of the earliest plants to be cultivated by humans… dating back to Asia more than 10,000 years ago… was hemp (Cannabis sativa).

Ancient Chinese manuscripts detail how emperors used it as medicine over 3,000 years ago… and it can be found in Ayurvedic medicinal traditions as well.

The plant is referred to as “sacred grass” in Hindu scripture…

And hemp seeds… known in India as “bhaang ke beej”… are an integral part of the annual Hindu spring festival known as “Holi.”

Now, hemp may come from the Cannabis plant… but it ISN’T the same as marijuana.

It’s a safe and medicinal herb… with ZERO psychoactive effects.

And hemp seeds can help get things moving along if you’re feeling a little “backed up.”

Packed with protein and healthy fats, hemp seeds are incredibly nutritious…

And if you eat them with the edible shells still on, you’ll get a powerhouse source of fiber, too.

Between their fiber content… and their BOUNTY of omega-3, omega-6, and omega-9 fatty acids

Hemp seeds provide a potent laxative remedy that’s been used for CENTURIES.

And folks around the world SWEAR by it!

The idea is that hemp seeds can LUBRICATE your lower gut by STIMULATING mucus secretions in your colon.

This RELIEVES mucosal irritation and inflammation… and MOISTENS your stool

So that your toilet time could become FAR more “easygoing.”

In a 2017 animal study out of China, consuming a formula that included hemp seeds helped constipated rats poop MORE… with LESS effort.

Research has also shown how hemp seeds can help BALANCE gut bacteria

And as you know, a healthy gut microbiome is CRUCIAL to maintaining “regularity.”

In Traditional Chinese Medicine, hemp seeds are known as “Huo Ma Ren” or Semen Cannabis. It’s often combined with another Chinese herbal laxative I’ve shared with you previously, called Mai Men Dong (a.k.a. Ophiopogon japonicus or Radix ophiopogonis).

But you can look for any whole hemp seeds (ideally organic) – including those that have been ground into a powder.

You can find hemp seed powder available in capsule form at your local health food store or online…

But note that certain Asian specialty markets may carry a product called “hemp seed pill” that contains other ingredients as well.

Another option is cold-pressed hemp seed oil… which is edible and can be used for cooking.
