We all know people who drink a lot of soda every day. Their can or bottle is always within reach, on their desk or beside their favorite spot in the living room.

Compared to them a couple of sodas here or there might not seem like much.

But it is. And it’s dangerous.

New research reveals that drinking just two sodas per day increases risk of kidney damage and kidney disease.

One kidney specialist told HealthDay News that even people with normal kidney function are at risk if they’re knocking back just one soda per day.

He says, “There is no safe amount of soda.”

If that sounds like an exaggeration, check out this study I told you about in 2010. Just two sodas per week sharply increased risk of one of the most dreaded cancers.
