This “Health” Food is Unsafe At ANY Dose [Shocking Study Results]
For years, we’ve been told artificial sweeteners were the “healthier,” guilt-free solution.
No sugar.
No calories.
No weight gain.
Just sweetness without the consequences.
But what if that promise comes with a hidden trade-off?
Stunning new research shows that one of the most popular sweeteners around may be damaging your heart and brain… even at doses we were told are safe.
And the message is clear – this stuff is unsafe at any amount.
We’ve been warning HSI members about the risks of aspartame for more than 25 years – especially the concerning links to cancer.
But it turns out aspartame is a wrecking ball for your heart and brain, too.
A study published last month in Biomedicine & Pharmacotherapy looked at the long-term side effects of aspartame, which you’ll still find in plenty of diet sodas, chewing gum, and more.
Within just 12 months, mice exhibited:
- Cardiac hypertrophy(enlargement of the heart muscle)
- Reduced cardiac output(the heart pumping less efficiently)
- And early signs of cognitive decline
But here’s the kicker…
Researchers gave the mice only 17% of the current “acceptable daily intake.”
Which equals about 2-3 diet sodas a day for a human.
That’s less than one-fifth of what regulators consider safe, which is a jaw-dropping 9-14 cans.
And if you’re surprised, well, don’t be…
A 2025 study out of India synthesized the results from lab, animal, and human studies on aspartame.
When they ran the numbers, they found that aspartame can lead to brain inflammation and cognitive decline, even at what we were told is an “acceptable daily intake.”
It’s becoming more and more clear that the only “acceptable daily intake” for aspartame is zero.
This stuff is a monstrosity…
They engineered it to be 200 times sweeter than real sugar, so millions of Americans would get hooked.
And now we know it unleashes chaos inside our bodies, and could put you on the road to heart of brain disease.
It’s remarkable that aspartame is still marketed as a health food… especially for people looking to lose weight.
With all we know now, it’s genuinely hard to find a food more unhealthy than aspartame.
Read your labels carefully, and get this stuff out of your life.
Because real health isn’t just about looking lean.
It’s about how well your heart and brain continue to function in your golden years.
And rarely are the trade-offs printed on the label.
To thinking twice,
