A “grass” that KILLS cancer! (Study)
Killing CANCER cells is one of the greatest breakthroughs in modern medicine…
Unfortunately, for anyone battling cancer, mainstream options to doing so boil down to chemo, radiation, or surgery.
But a recent study identified another, NATURAL path that puts deadly cancer cells in the crosshairs without potentially wrecking your body!
Researchers in Japan have discovered that an invasive weed, native to southeastern U.S., called Andropogon virginicus contains powerful compounds that may treat and even KILL cancer cells.
Commonly known as ‘whiskey grass’, Andropogon virginicus is capable of reaching heights of seven feet and disrupting local growth patterns. Plant experts say if you burn it, it’ll grow back stronger and thicker than before.
But it turns out this pesky plant is packed with high levels of flavonoids. Flavonoids protect our cells from free radicals (which contribute to tumor growth and development).
The flavonoids in whiskey grass are so powerful that, when researchers exposed them to a rare variety of blood cancer, the compounds in the weed appeared to KILL the cancer cells. This is according to findings published in the publication, Plants.
Research continues to be done on whiskey grass as a potential cancer treatment. But these initial findings are extremely promising.
In the meantime, there are plenty of ways to naturally keep cancer at bay.
For instance, did you know that a unique fruit native to the Far East called gac can also kill certain cancer cells?
In fact, a study published by RMIT University (Australia) found that gac can kill an unbelievable 85-90% of cancer cells, especially in skin and breast cancer!
If you’re currently undergoing any type of cancer treatments, be sure to talk to your doctor before supplementing with anything additional to ensure there are no interactions to your current treatments.
