A-list (and even B-list) celebrities are fawning all over them…

Swearing they help unwanted pounds melt away faster than a sno-cone in Phoenix.

Folks, there’s a lot of buzz about weight loss drugs sold under the brand names Wegovy and Ozempic.

A new study says these drugs can be healthy.

But is it a bunch of bull? Today I’m going to give you the TRUTH about them and what they really do to your body.

So, in answer to the question: are these drugs a bunch of bull?

If you ask me, YES.

An Israeli study says Wegovy and Ozempic can do more than help folks lose weight.

This study says they also PROTECT people against type 2 diabetes—claiming they improve blood sugar control and promote weight loss in adults with type 2 diabetes over a period of up to three years.

Wegovy and Ozempic belong to a group of drugs known as GLP-1 receptor agonists—which are designed to help regulate blood sugar.

So, yeah… on the surface these drugs sound like the provide a positive health benefit, right?

WRONG!

A study published in the Journal of the American Medical Association concluded that that people who took Wegovy regained two-thirds of the weight they had lost when they went off the drug.

Translation?

If you want any real, long-term weight loss benefit related to those drugs… you probably have to take them for a very LONG TIME.

And when you do take them long term, you’re susceptible to noted, serious side effects like seizures, slurred speech, and blurred vision!

Oh, and there’s the price tag, with Wegovy clocking in at close to $270 PER WEEK without insurance. That’s over $1,000 a month!

And as for diabetes, I’ve said it before… and I’ll say it again.

Preventing—and STOPPING—type 2 diabetes DOES NOT require drugs!

Getting serious about lowering your blood sugar starts with a better diet and talking to your doctor. Paleo and intermittent fasting are simple, effective eating plans that can help you better manage and regulate blood sugar—and help keep the WEIGHT off!
