You may deal with the symptoms of seasonal allergy from time-to-time…

But there’s no chance you could develop a NEW allergy… right?

WRONG!

A new study shows that a certain allergy could crop up for MILLIONS of OLDER adults who never experienced it before!

(And don’t worry—if you end up being one of these allergy sufferers, there are easy steps you can take to get relief.)

A recent study revealed that 10% of adults have food allergies—with nearly HALF of those cases beginning in adulthood!

The study also found that nearly 90% of these late-in-life-onset allergies are due to nine common categories:

  1. Peanuts
  2. Tree nuts
  3. Dairy
  4. Eggs
  5. Shellfish
  6. Fin fish
  7. Soy
  8. Wheat
  9. Sesame.

All of which can cause a laundry list of complaints, like skin problems, digestive disorders, pain, and fatigue.

If you’re dealing with any of these symptoms, you’re not going crazy… you may just have a new food allergy or sensitivity.

Thankfully, identifying the root cause is simple.

Try going without all nine aforementioned foods for a few weeks.

If you improve—one is likely the culprit. You can further narrow it down by reintroducing those things, one at a time (leave at least a week or so between those reintroductions).

That’s a good starting point. Then, you may need to do further digging.

Many allergies and food sensitivities are triggered by hidden additives in many processed foods.

One of the most notorious triggers for some folks is gluten. (Going gluten-free for a few weeks is another path to identifying the source of your misery.)

If you want to really avoid any potential allergy triggers… another option is the Paleo diet. This is simply eating meats, veggies, fruits, and a few nuts and seeds. It avoids foods that are processed or refined.

If you think you have a food allergy, be sure to speak to your doctor. He can refer you to an allergist that may be able to help identify the root cause with a simple testing kit, too.

To fighting any allergy,

Sarah Reagan
