There’s a lot of GRIM news about Parkinson’s disease.

Nearly one million people in the U.S. are currently battling Parkinson’s…

It’s the second MOST common neurodegenerative disease (just behind Alzheimer’s) …

And, nearly 100,000 people are diagnosed with Parkinson’s each year…

With NO CURE in sight!

But thanks to a groundbreaking study out of Sweden, the future of Parkinson’s could all change…

Here’s a sneak peek at what some are calling a potential, future CURE for the disease… and how you can take steps TODAY to keep the disease from spreading.

Last month, scientists and doctors at Skåne University Hospital in Lund, Sweden successfully transferred a stem cell-derived nerve cell to a Parkinson’s patient for the first time ever — marking a major breakthrough in the treatment of the disease.

According to the team that led the groundbreaking procedure, the stem cell-derived nerve cells serve as a replacement for the dopamine nerve cells. These dopamine cells are typically LOST in Parkinson’s patients as the disease progresses.

This procedure was only done on one person… study researchers are hoping to do it on a total of eight patients in the future.

So, this stem-cell therapy won’t be rolled out anytime soon as more evidence needs to be collected. And we’ll be sure to keep you informed as more information comes to light.

In addition to the stem-cell project, there are other innovations being developed around Parkinson’s. For instance, British researchers are working on a three-minute swab test to detect Parkinson’s disease. You can read the details here.

But keeping at Parkinson’s at bay – and halting it’s progression – doesn’t mean you need to wait around.

Take spirulina for example. Spirulina is a blue-green algae that grows in both fresh and saltwater… and is believed to be one of the oldest life forms on Earth

Researchers believe spirulina contains an anti-inflammatory compound called C-phycocyanin (C-PC) that works to combat the inflammatory response linked to Parkinson’s.

Staying active and moving is also proven to be great when it comes to managing the symptoms of Parkinson’s.

Finally, if you have a history of Parkinson’s in your family, or are beginning to experience Parkinson’s-like symptoms, be sure to have a conversation with your doctor about a treatment plan that works best for you.

To the Parkinson’s fight,

Meet the Health Sciences Institute

The Health Sciences Institute (HSI) is an independent organization established in 1998. We’re dedicated to uncovering and researching the most urgent advances in modern underground medicine. Things you WON’T hear about in the mainstream.

Whether they come from a laboratory in Malaysia, a clinic in South America, or a university in Germany, our goal is to bring the treatments that work directly to the people who need them. We alert our Members to exciting breakthroughs in medicine, show them exactly where to go to learn more, and help them understand how they and their families can benefit from these powerful discoveries.
