There are headaches… and then there are MIGRAINES.

Migraines don’t just make your head hurt… they can cause BLURRED vision… extreme SENSITIVITY to light… and even gut-busting NAUSEA.

Which means a migraine doesn’t just make you feel uncomfortable… it can put you completely out-of-commission!

And unfortunately, for most migraine-sufferers, they don’t just happen occasionally… they dig in FREQUENTLY.

Plus, no matter how many OTC painkillers you take, they always seem to come back with a vengeance.

There’s no iron-clad “cure” for migraines… but today I’ve got the scoop on how a Medieval “leaf” can begin slow their frequency in as little one month.

In the Middle Ages, butterbur was used to treat the PLAGUE.

(Even today it’s sometimes still referred to as “plague root“.)

But if you find you’re plagued by frequent migraines, studies around butterbur found that it can slow their frequency!

In one clinical trial published in Neurology, study participants were able to, on average, SLASH the frequency of their migraines by nearly HALF.

Most saw relief after three months… but some experienced significant migraine relief in as little as 30 DAYS.

That means if you were to start today… you could head into the holiday season with FEWER worries about migraine attacks…

And MORE days when you can be up and about, enjoying the holiday spirit!

The key seems to be its content of the active compounds petasin and isopetasin, which are known for their anti-inflammatory qualities.

Butterbur also seems to relieve spasms… which can help relax the muscles and blood vessels involved in a migraine headache.

One of the most studied forms of butterbur is the extract known by the brand name Petadolex.

You can find other iterations of butterbur, sometimes labeled as “purple butterbur“, at health food stores or vitamin retailers.

However, it’s recommended you look for a supplement that has been certified as PA-free.

That means that it’s ELIMINATED all traceable content of pyrrolizidine alkaloids
which are plant chemicals that can pose a risk to your liver.

If you are working with your doctor on a treatment plan for frequent migraines, be sure to talk to him about whether butterbur is right for you.

To an end to migraines,
Sarah Reagan

Meet the Health Sciences Institute

The Health Sciences Institute (HSI) is an independent organization established in 1998. We’re dedicated to uncovering and researching the most urgent advances in modern underground medicine. Things you WON’T hear about in the mainstream.

Whether they come from a laboratory in Malaysia, a clinic in South America, or a university in Germany, our goal is to bring the treatments that work directly to the people who need them. We alert our Members to exciting breakthroughs in medicine, show them exactly where to go to learn more, and help them understand how they and their families can benefit from these powerful discoveries.
