Sleeping with a CPAP machine? Turns out, you could be sleeping with CANCER!

A stunning new recall exposes a serious flaw in MILLIONS of those popular devices – you know, the ones used by folks struggling to manage their sleep apnea.

But as SCARY as that is…

As DANGEROUS as these devices could turn out to be…

And as much as you need ACT QUICKLY to make sure you’re out of the crosshairs

I’ve got another big warning about CPAP – one that HASN’T made the news.

Because as you’ll see in a moment… cancer may not even be the WORST problem.

But I’m not here to scare the snores outta ya, so don’t worry.

I’ve got something better – and that’s a way to rest easy WITHOUT turning on your CPAP ever again!

What to watch for with your CPAP

You might think CPAP is just a tube o’ air connected to a mask.

Slap that sucker on at night… and feel the sweet, sweet oxygen as it’s pumped down your gullet…

So you can sleep better and not… y’know… slowly choke in the night.

And that’s all that SHOULD be there.

But that’s not always the case.

Multiple types of CPAP (and BiPAP) machines made by Philips have a little piece of foam wedged inside to make them a little quieter.

Those foam pieces could break down… and you could inhale the tiny remains and the chemicals they contain…

And those chemicals have been linked to cancer.

If you’re among the 2 million or so who have a Philips device, of course, check in with your doctor or contact the retailer where you bought it to see if it’s part of this recall.

And replace the thing if necessary.

But as I mentioned earlier, there’s another problem – and in many ways, this one is more fatal than cancer.

It’s a potentially devastating condition called “a false sense of security.”

People get CPAP… they stop choking at night… the snoring ends… and they think everything is just hunky-dory.

But it’s not!

If you have apnea… CPAP can only do so much.

Sure, it can deliver the oxygen – but it doesn’t actually FIX anything.

That’s true for other treatments, too… like the surgery that snips out some throaty bits to clear more space for the air.

There’s even a gadget where you zap your tongue with electricity when you’re awake to stop it from flopping around when you’re asleep and blocking the air.

No, really — that’s a thing, and the FDA approved it. (Boy, do I have some ideas for “medical devices” now.)

But NONE of these gadgets and gimmicks take care of the underlying issues.

Most often, it’s obesity.

Many of the dangers linked to apnea… from heart disease to dementia to death itself… are also the dangers of hauling around too much fat.

And sorry, friend, but CPAP can’t make up for that — nor can surgery or a crispy tongue.

You need to drop the extra pounds. And if that seems like a tall order, consider this: Even losing just SOME of your excess weight can make a dramatic difference.

Studies show you can breathe easier by losing about 10% of your body weight. And if you go a little further… you may even be able to CURE the condition completely.

That means instead of replacing your cancer-causing CPAP… you could toss it in the trash!

Dr. Allan Spreen
