You know what they say about “reinventing the wheel.”

It’s a waste of time!

But that’s EXACTLY what it seems like the mainstream INSISTS on focusing on when it comes to finding ways to treat or even ERASE cancer.

They IDENTIFY a target for cancer therapy…

And then they IGNORE something already found in nature that could help them ZERO IN on it!

Instead, they go back to the drawing board

And try to develop a drug or some other approachFROM SCRATCH!

This just seems like MADNESS to me.

It’s not just a one-time deal… but something that happens OVER and OVER and OVER again.

The mainstream will tell you it’s doing everything it can to help fight cancer.

But if you ask me, that’s just not true.

Here’s one example of what I mean.

A zinger of a cancer fighter

You’ve read right here in eAlert how a PUNGENT root could help STOP cancer from taking hold…

And SLAM THE BRAKES on its progression.

It’s ginger (Zingiber officinale) – a STAPLE of Asian cuisine that’s worth a closer look when it comes to the fight against cancer.

Because it contains compounds that could be powerful enough on their own to make even the mainstream sit up and take notice.

I’m talking about shogaols… which get their name from what the Japanese call ginger, “shōga.”

They’re part of what gives ginger that characteristic “kick” when you taste it.

We’ve shared with you how 6-shogaol OUTPERFORMED the cancer drug taxol in one study…

And how it’s been shown to help SHRINK ovarian tumors.

But there’s even MORE to this story…

Because shogaols have ALSO shown in lab studies to help fight…

  • lung cancer
  • gastrointestinal cancer
  • colorectal cancer
  • cervical cancer
  • breast cancer
  • and more.

In one study out of Singapore, 6-shogaol helped bring metastatic breast cancer to a SCREECHING HALT.

And in a recent study out of Taiwan, 6-shogaol helped inhibit the DEVELOPMENT and SPREAD of lung cancer

Primarily by BLOCKING the action of an inflammatory cytokine known as CC-chemokine ligand 2 (CCL2).

CCL2 is SO crucial to the process behind cancer metastasis… it’s become a target of immunotherapy research and the development of antibody therapies.

But researchers haven’t yet come up with just the right “poison cocktail” to DISABLE this mechanism… at least not in real people (a.k.a. human cancer patients).

I hope they’ll start to look at shogaols a little more closely now!

The news gets even better with these ginger compounds…

Because it turns out, they’re CHOOSEY when it comes to picking their battles.

They harm cancer cells and ONLY cancer cells

And they leave your healthy tissue ALONE!

Now, you WON’T find 6-shogaol in fresh ginger – only in dried or cooked ginger.

Shogaols are actually the DEHYDRATED form of gingerols… and have been found to be FAR more potent than gingerols.

Talk to your integrative oncologist about how to incorporate ginger shogaols into your care.

You can find ginger root extract supplements formulated with a “whole spectrum” complex – meaning they contain BOTH gingerols and shogaols.

And given ginger’s reputation for settling an upset stomach… it should come as no surprise that it could also help beat back nausea and vomiting associated with conventional treatments like chemotherapy.

To landing a pungent punch against cancer,
Sarah Reagan

Meet the Health Sciences Institute

The Health Sciences Institute (HSI) is an independent organization established in 1998. We’re dedicated to uncovering and researching the most urgent advances in modern underground medicine. Things you WON’T hear about in the mainstream.

Whether they come from a laboratory in Malaysia, a clinic in South America, or a university in Germany, our goal is to bring the treatments that work directly to the people who need them. We alert our Members to exciting breakthroughs in medicine, show them exactly where to go to learn more, and help them understand how they and their families can benefit from these powerful discoveries.
