Pick any older person off the street… and there’s a good chance their doc has got them taking statins to lower their cholesterol.

Because even if they started on statins DECADES ago… most docs consider it a life-long contract!

And good luck ever getting OFF of them once you go ON them – at least, if your doc follows the mainstream party line.

But statin drugs carry MAJOR risks… including muscle pain, brain bleeds, and even unwanted personality changes!

And too-low cholesterol levels have been associated with a higher risk of Parkinson’s disease.

As it turns out, that’s not the ONLY neurodegenerative condition that could develop after using drug therapy to achieve “as-low-as-you-can-go” cholesterol numbers.

There’s something else – and this one is a DOOZY.

It’s dementia!

Here’s how statins could DRAIN your brain

And what you can do about it.

Drug-induced dementia?

If you knew before you ever swallowed that first pill that taking statins could STEAL your precious memories

Would you still jump on the Big Pharma bandwagon to lower your cholesterol with drugs?

But unfortunately, “statin-related dementia” is something your doc might NEVER tell you about…

At least, not until it’s already taken hold.

Here’s the kicker…

The FDA knew about memory and cognitive issues associated with statin use all the way back in 2012…

And that STOPPING the statins could REVERSE the memory loss and cognitive impairment!

Now, not all statins are exactly the same…

And the GREATEST risk seems to come with the ones called “lipophilic” statins… which can cross the blood-brain barrier.

Unfortunately, not EVERYBODY is on the same page about this risk…

Because SOME experts are touting the benefits of statins for brain health

Particularly when it comes to vascular forms of dementia.

Those supposed benefits haven’t been PROVEN…

But that hasn’t stopped the mainstream from PUSHING statins on older folks!

Compare that to how the mainstream keeps INSISTING that the cognitive risks of statins haven’t been proven, either…

And yet they’ve CONTINUED to pressure seniors to take statins.

So much for “better safe than sorry.”

Friend, I want to remind you that “high” cholesterol levels don’t always require drugs to bring them down.

Even “bad” cholesterol – a.k.a. LDL – is only dangerous when it’s been oxidized.

There’s a test your doc can give you to determine your LDL oxidation.

Plus, you don’t want your cholesterol levels to take too big of a NOSEDIVE… as your brain NEEDS fat in order to function!

If you’re looking to balance your cholesterol levels… especially to make sure your HDL (or “good” cholesterol) is high enough… try some natural solutions first.

Meet the Health Sciences Institute

The Health Sciences Institute (HSI) is an independent organization established in 1998. We’re dedicated to uncovering and researching the most urgent advances in modern underground medicine. Things you WON’T hear about in the mainstream.

Whether they come from a laboratory in Malaysia, a clinic in South America, or a university in Germany, our goal is to bring the treatments that work directly to the people who need them. We alert our Members to exciting breakthroughs in medicine, show them exactly where to go to learn more, and help them understand how they and their families can benefit from these powerful discoveries.
