CRUSH cancer with this Vietnamese ‘celebration melon’

If you’ve been diagnosed with cancer, you’ve probably become very familiar with the power of prayer.

And as you know, prayer can work in the most mysterious ways…

In fact, there’s a gift from God that’s found on the other side of the world… one that’s used in blessing ceremonies and that could help put cancer its place.

It’s not a breakthrough drug treatment… and it’s not something that was invented by any man.

A pumpkin cousin for cancer

This is the time of year when families are picking pumpkins… and the neighbors are decorating their porches with a number of ornamental gourds and seasonal squashes.

But there’s a vine fruit in that very same plant family that I guarantee you’ve NEVER seen… much less tasted.

It’s called gac (Momordica cochinchinensis)…

And inside a hard, spiny rind, its fruit pulp is so bright red… the people of Vietnam use it as food coloring.

It lends a rosy hue to Vietnamese red sticky rice — called “xoi” rice for blessings of health and wellness at weddings and on special occasions (like New Year’s).

And the same plant pigments that help make gac so celebratory ALSO contribute to its status as a “superfruit.”

I’m talking about carotenoids.

Gac fruit contains 70X  the lycopene content of 1 tomato… and 10X  more beta-carotene than carrots.

Now, BOTH of those antioxidants have been shown on their own to help fight cancer…

So, it should come as no surprise that animal studies have shown the ability of gac fruit extract to CLAMP DOWN on colon cancer .

But that’s JUST the beginning of what gac can do.

Because there’s ALSO been some exciting research on how the extract from gac fruit seed  can keep multiple types of cancer from taking hold… and spreading.

In vitro studies have shown how gac seed extract can help beat back gastric cancer … lung cancer … and breast cancer  cells.

And Traditional Chinese Medicine has used gac seeds to treat liver cancer FOR AGES.

Gac appears to SABOTAGE cancer cell survival by…

• KILLING them directly
• FORCING them to “off” themselves (a.k.a. apoptosis)
• INHIBITING their ability to grow and multiply (a.k.a. cell cycle arrest), and
• CUTTING OFF tumor blood supply.

As a result, gac seed could help SLOW… or even STOP… tumor growth !

Now, if you ever get your hands on gac fruit, keep in mind that the rind is toxic. And the seeds (nicknamed “wooden turtle seeds” for their look and texture) aren’t readily edible.

You can find gac fruit juices… oils… and even powders online or at your local Asian specialty market.
