If you’re worried about the visible signs of aging

And you’re concerned with making sure you don’t LOOK as old as you may actually BE…

You’re not alone.

Older folks are practically MOVING MOUNTAINS to keep Father Time at arm’s length

And too many are emptying their wallets in the process.

Despite being on a FIXED income… they’re FIXATED on all the youth serums and cosmetic procedures that money can buy!

But the sad truth is… nobody needs to DRAIN their retirement fund to avoid the clutches of premature or excessive aging.

Here’s something that’s naturalcheap… and widely available

And that makes a difference you can SEE!

Splendor in the grass

You’ve likely already heard of a type of grass with a lemony aroma, known as lemongrass (Cymbopogon flexuosus or Cymbopogon citratus).

You’ll find it in everything from Thai food to perfume

But the components that make this grass so fragrant… a.k.a. citral and limonene… also contribute to its anti-aging properties.

A natural skin toner… with healing properties… lemongrass works MIRACLES in turning back the hands of time.

Especially in those areas where the signs of aging can be MOST visible.

The main actions of lemongrass include…

  • TIGHTENING, thanks to an astringent quality that constricts the skin and minimizes the appearance of pores
  • BRIGHTENING, as its anti-inflammatory activity reduces redness
  • REPAIRING, with antioxidant power to scavenge free radicals that can lead to skin damage, and
  • PURIFYING, given its antiseptic and antimicrobial character.

And that’s just what it can do from applying it to the surface of your skin!

But don’t stop there…

Because the age-reversing power of lemongrass extends beyond your face.

You can even use it as a part of your hair care routine!

Lemongrass is known to STRENGTHEN your hair follicles… which is a CRUCIAL component of SLOWING the progression of hair loss.

You’ll find lemongrass as an ingredient in some fancy… and pricey… shampoos and conditioners…

But you can literally rub lemongrass essential oil or powder directly onto your scalp.

To use lemongrass essential oil topically on your skin, you’ll want to dilute it with a carrier oil like coconut or jojoba. (You may find some formulations that have already been diluted and are ready-to-use.)

Conduct a patch test first somewhere less visible than your face to make sure you’re not allergic or overly sensitive to it.

Fresh lemongrass and dried versions of the herb can be used to make a detoxifying tea. Or, look for a prepackaged lemongrass tea at your local Asian specialty market.

However, it is possible to get too much of a good thing – lemongrass tea can become toxic in very high quantities, especially if you’re sensitive to it.

So, go easy on it at first.

P.S. Just last week, I shared a way to REGENERATE your skin… and RECLAIM its youthfulness… with a “wildflower oil.” Missed it? You can read it in the eAlert archives here.
