Joel Gomez was just 14 years old when he went to bed one August night — and never woke up.

His frantic relatives tried CPR to revive him. Paramedics rushed to the scene.

But it was too late — his heart had given out.

It wasn’t some genetic defect or lifelong heart condition that killed Joel. An expert who reviewed his autopsy concluded that he was the latest victim of the HPV vaccine Gardasil.

Since Day One, I’ve been warning you how vaccines like Gardasil have been linked to horrific side effects. And how it’s left once-healthy girls and boys paralyzed and sometimes dead.

But Joel’s death is revealing another serious risk to this dangerous vaccine.

One that can strike in just hours — and that you deserve to know about before ever agreeing to the shot for a child you love.

A shot to the heart

I’ve told you stories of young kids passing out right in their doctors’ offices after getting a shot of Gardasil.

It’s a risk that even the CDC and the FDA have warned about, and it happens because Gardasil can actually impede heart function and keep enough blood from reaching your brain.

But it looks like the damage Gardasil can do to young kids’ hearts may last long after the dizziness or fainting spells pass.

When Joel’s family hired an independent medical expert, Dr. Sin Hang Lee, to review Joel’s autopsy, he found something you should never see in a healthy teen.

Just hours after getting his second Gardasil shot, Joel died of myocarditis. That’s an inflammation of the heart muscle you normally find in older heart failure patients.

It was as if he had the heart of an old — and very sick — man!

Even worse, Dr. Lee found evidence that the first Gardasil injection gave Joel a “silent heart attack” that was never diagnosed. And the young boy’s heart was still recovering from the damage when he got the second dose.

“There is no other plausible cause” of Joel’s death, according to Dr. Lee.

Now lots of the talk about the side effects of Gardasil has focused on paralyzing conditions like Guillain-Barre Syndrome — which can leave kids in wheelchairs if it doesn’t kill them first.

But when he poured through CDC statistics, Dr. Lee found at least half a dozen other reports of heart-related deaths among children who were given Gardasil.

There have been lots of cases of Gardasil causing dangerously low blood pressure (the same problem that can trigger fainting spells). And that can be especially dangerous for active teens like Joel who play sports that can put strain on their hearts.

Any sudden case of low blood pressure when the body’s demand for oxygen is most critical, such as participating in a sporting activity, could cause heart damage like the kind that killed Joel.

That’s why Dr. Lee is giving an urgent warning to parents and grandparents of teenage athletes.

If your child or grandchild has recently been given a Gardasil injection, Dr. Lee says they should be held out of competitive sports for at least two months.

Just imagine the millions of kids who’ve gotten the shot over the years without ever receiving that warning!

Dr. Lee also advises having your child given an electrocardiogram in the event of any chest discomfort, rapid heartbeat or loss of consciousness experienced during that time.

Unfortunately, with locales like Virginia, Rhode Island and the District of Columbia now mandating Gardasil — and threatening to throw students out of school if they don’t get the shot — countless more kids like Joel will be put in harm’s way.

But the safest course of action is still to keep that Gardasil syringe far away from the children you love.

Because no matter how Big Pharma and our government try to explain away the dangers, the list of risks — and victims — seems to be growing by the day.
