End back pain WITHOUT visiting the operating room!
70% of older adults struggle with back pain…
And, a study by Georgetown University found that older adults with back pain are LESS satisfied with their retirement.
Which means many will do just about anything to get rid of the pain—including BACK SURGERY!
But studies estimate that only 50% of most back surgeries are actually successful.
Fortunately, there’s a NATURAL, “hands on” way to end your back pain.
The thought—and sound—of your back cracking can be a little unnerving.
But when it comes to treating pain, chiropractic treatment is extremely effective, with studies finding that nearly 80% of chiropractic patients say they achieve 100% relief.
Considering back surgery is only successful half the time, it sure makes the prospect of chiropractic care much more appealing!
One of the most common chiropractic methods for treating back pain is chiropractic spinal manipulation—a range of hands-on treatments directed at the joints of the spine which cause that “cracking” sensation.
“Manipulation” may not sound like something you should be doing with your spine, but studies have found the procedure effective at eliminating back pain.
In fact, a recent study published in the journal BMJ Open found that folks receiving chiropractic spinal manipulation due to a herniated disc or radiculopathy (an injury to spinal nerves) in early stages are LESS likely to undergo surgery to repair or remove their disc within the next TWO YEARS.
And, patients who received chiropractic spinal manipulation for their lower back pain were significantly less likely to get a discectomy (the procedure of removing a herniated disc).
It should be noted that most (if not all) chiropractic treatments are covered by insurance or Medicare as long as it’s deemed “medically necessary.”
Which means the first step is to speak with your doctor or specialist about your treatment options. He or she should deem chiropractic care a valid treatment for back pain… and should prioritize it ahead of drugs or surgery.
And at the off chance he scoffs at the idea… GET A SECOND OPINION!
From there, your insurance provider can provide you a comprehensive list covered chiropractors in your network.
