Odd “root” reigns in autoimmune disease?
From rheumatoid arthritis… to lupus… to Celiac disease…
The myriad of autoimmune diseases out there aren’t just “conditions” …
They’re your body’s sick way of attacking your OWN HEALTHY cells and joints!
And they key to dealing with ANY autoimmune disease is to fight the cause…
Which happens to be—(cue drumroll)—INFLAMMATION!
Today I’ve got new research on an odd “root” that can help stop inflammation from the inside, out—without high-powered drugs!
According to a study published in JCI Insight, researchers from the University of Colorado School of Medicine say GINGER (ginger supplements, specifically) can play a pivotal role in controlling the inflammation that triggers autoimmune diseases.
It’s no secret that ginger is a powerful—and natural—anti-inflammatory. But this latest study found that ginger helps your body resist a type of inflammation unique to autoimmune diseases.
Neutrophil extracellular trap (NET) formation—or NETosis—is a microscopic, web-like structure that can accelerate inflammation and clotting and contribute to numerous autoimmune diseases, like lupus, antiphospholipid syndrome, and rheumatoid arthritis.
But, according to this new study, ginger can enable neutrophils—a type of white blood cell—to become more RESISTANT to NETosis.
In other words, supplementing with ginger can fight autoimmune disease-related inflammation from the INSIDE. And as a result, you may not need to reach for pain killers or expensive prescription drugs to fight the pain.
In addition to ginger, taking a high-quality PROBIOTIC can also control internal inflammation—especially for rheumatoid arthritis.
Neither are a cure for any autoimmune disease. But the less internal inflammation you have, the less risk you’ll have of a nasty flareup.
Be sure to talk to your doctor about the best approach for your condition.
To tampering inflammation,
