Getting EXERCISE is one of the best things you can do for your overall health…

Right?!

We say “yes”… but if the headlines from a new study are any indicator…

Getting exercise could send some people to their DEATH BED.

But I dug deeper and today am giving you the FACTS about this latest study… and why you absolutely SHOULDN’T stop exercising!

A new study out of India says that working out with blocked arteries could trigger a stroke.

Specifically, the team behind this study found that an increased heart rate could potentially induce a stroke in patients who have highly blocked carotid arteries.

But, they also found that—for healthy individuals and those with only slight blockages— exercise is still advantageous in maintaining healthy blood flow.

Seems all pretty cut-and-dry, right? Yes, of course if you have “blocked” arteries, intense exercise isn’t ideal.

But this study honed in on your carotid arteries.

These arteries are located on both sides of the neck and supply blood flow to the face and the brain. They can become narrower when substances such as fat, cholesterol, and other particles accumulate on the inner walls of the artery, forming a plaque.

This narrowing of the carotid arteries is known as stenosis and can be challenging to detect in its early stages when the plaque is starting to accumulate. Yet, it poses a significant risk as it can restrict blood flow to the brain.

If the brain is deprived of the necessary blood supply, it lacks oxygen, leading to a stroke in the patient.

And as for the whole exercise thing? Yes, serious cases of stenosis could be a problem when exercising and could potentially fuel a stroke.

But whatever you do… DON’T DITCH EXERCISE!

This is all a cautionary tale. So, the bottom line is to make sure that, no matter what stage of life—or health—you are in, consult with your doctor on the exercise routine that’s right for you.

If you do show signs of blocked arteries, exercise with caution and take it slow—consider a light walking routine.

To safe exercise,

Sarah Reagan

The Health Sciences Institute (HSI) is an independent organization established in 1998. We’re dedicated to uncovering and researching the most urgent advances in modern underground medicine. Things you WON’T hear about in the mainstream.

Whether they come from a laboratory in Malaysia, a clinic in South America, or a university in Germany, our goal is to bring the treatments that work directly to the people who need them. We alert our Members to exciting breakthroughs in medicine, show them exactly where to go to learn more, and help them understand how they and their families can benefit from these powerful discoveries.
