I don’t often talk about liver disease

But it’s something that shouldn’t be IGNORED!

See, your liver is your body’s second LARGEST organ (your skin is the largest) but, more importantly, it’s your body’s internal “detox” system as it constantly flushes out harmful TOXINS.

But when your liver ISN’T working as it should?

Well, unfortunately, you become a sitting duck for liver disease – which is ANY condition that can affect and damage your liver.

Anything from serious viral infections (Hepatitis A, B, and C) to consuming too many toxins (like excess alcohol and saturated fats) can all lead to liver disease.

Nearly 30 million people in the U.S. have some type of liver disease. Fortunately, you can LOWER your risk by as much as 21%… and you can do it from the comfort of your own home.

According to a research study out of the United Kingdom, drinking 3 cups of COFFEE a day can significantly reduce your risk of developing or dying from liver disease!

It turns out that coffee drinkers had…

  • a 21% reduced risk of liver disease and,
  • a jaw-dropping 49% lower risk of death from chronic liver disease.

Plus, get this, the study also found that DECAF coffee has the same liver disease-fighting benefits – great news for anyone with a caffeine sensitivity.

You see, coffee (both regular and decaf) is packed with anti-inflammatory and anti-fibrotic compounds… both of which prevent tissue scaring, crucial for optimal liver health.

For readers of eAlert, I’ve talked at length about the numerous health benefits of drinking coffee (even decaf), and this new study proves once again that coffee is one of the BEST drinks for your health.

I’ve even talked about how to make the HEALTHIEST cup of coffee.

The study did note that you should stick to no more than four cups of coffee a day to avoid too much caffeine in your system.

If you’re currently on any kind of medication for your liver, be sure to have a conversation with your doctor about coffee consumption, especially if you plan on increasing your overall coffee intake.
