A ‘Zen’ Trick to Better Immunity?! (AMAZING)
I know we’re approaching the end of cold and flu season…

It’s a ‘Zen’ trick that can protect your health and help boost your immune system for the rest of this winter.
According to a recent study published in the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences, practicing MEDITATION strengthens your body’s immune system… and reinforces its response to various viruses and illnesses.
During an 8-day meditation ‘retreat’ that focuses on intense, lengthy meditation, researchers discovered through blood samples that utilizing the art of ‘Zen’ meditation boosted the activity of hundreds of genes known to be directly involved in regulating your body’s immune response.
And let’s face it, EVERYONE is looking for all the help they can get to help their immune system!
Now, it should be noted that this particular study focused on very intense meditation – with some instances lasting upwards of 10 hours.
Obviously, sitting in complete silence for hours each day isn’t realistic for everyday folks.
But it doesn’t mean you can’t take advantage of a little meditation each day.
In fact, studies have found that even a small amount of meditation (and even relaxation) can help relieve stress that can lead to whole-body inflammation – which is one of the root causes of immunity breakdowns.
And here’s more good news…
The simple act of meditation doesn’t require complete silence – or an extravagant ‘Zen-like’ retreat.
Simply turning off distractions like your phone, TV, or the radio and engaging in some deep-breathing for a few minutes each day is a great way to calm your mind – and your body.
There are also easy-to-use (and free) apps like Calm, which is designed to teach you how to reduce anxiety and stress, sleep better, and check in with your emotions.
