Migraines are getting WORSE than ever…
With MORE people… in MORE pain… struggling with GREATER levels of disability… than ever before.
Yet the OBVIOUS villain here is getting completely IGNORED.

Up to 15% of all adults… and about 1 in 5 women… struggle with migraines.
That number’s been fairly steady over the years.
But the INTENSITY of those migraines has gone through the roof… as people who are prone to them report MORE frequent episodes with WORSE pain, according to new research.
Since 2004, the portion of migraine sufferers who say the pain is moderately or severely disabling has nearly DOUBLED — from 22% to 43%.
And the percentage of patients who suffer 15 or more headaches a month has jumped from 6.8% to 11.7%.
The experts are scratching their heads. One member of the team behind this study – and I’m not even kidding here – said maybe it’s because people saw a commercial for a migraine drug featuring Serena Williams, so they’re more willing to TALK about their headaches now.
PUH-leaze!!! You may as well blame the price of gas! (Actually, maybe that one CAN cause headaches…)
Migraines have MULTIPLE root causes… and for some people, the culprit could be more than one cause.
That’s always been true. But what’s different today is that ONE root cause is MORE COMMON than ever.
I mean processed and ultra-processed foods…
Especially those unpronounceable chemical ingredients used as preservatives, coloring agents, flavor enhancers, stabilizers and stuff you never heard of, like emulsifiers and… get this… “anti-foaming agents.”
You gotta wonder why your food needs “anti-foaming agents.”
Would it froth like Cujo without this chemical???
And don’t even get me started on all the hidden forms of MSG in food… not to mention chemical sweeteners such as aspartame… all of which are KNOWN migraine triggers.
Yet we’re eating MORE of this junk than ever.
A study last year found ultra-processed foods JUMPED from 53% of all calories consumed by the typical American… already WAY too high… to 57%…
While fresh food calories PLUNGED from 32.7 to 27.4%.
If you’re prone to migraines, SWITCH to an all-fresh diet… and WATCH the number of headaches take a NOSEDIVE.
In particular, avoid MSG… nitrates… and aspartame.
But like I said, there are MANY triggers, including “normal” foods – even allegedly “healthy” vegetable oils!
