Even if you once had fighter-pilot vision… it’s likely that it’s begun to WANE as you’ve AGED.

You’re not alone. Declining eyesight is common in older folks – even WITHOUT the presence of ANY eye disease.

And your eye doc might’ve already prescribed a pair of bifocals for you.

But I’ve got something that might – and it may only take MINUTES out of your day.

It may sound a little crazy to you… but stick with me, because the science behind this is SOLID.

A 2021 study out of University College London reveals a quick-and-easy way to IMPROVE vision that’s on the decline.

And all it takes is just 3 minutes in the morning… for benefits that last a full week.

It involves a form of light therapy – one that requires exposure to something called “longwave deep red light.”

Turns out, this form of light therapy FLIPS A SWITCH that “turns on” energy-producing mitochondria in the eye’s retina.

And when eyesight begins to fade with age… it’s often because of declining mitochondrial function.

Without being sufficiently ENERGIZED by the mitochondria… which are like tiny “powerhouses” in our cells… the retina’s photoreceptors stop working properly…

And we can’t see as well.

In fact, energy production in our retinas can decline as much as 70% over the course of our lives!

But those photoreceptors – a.k.a. “cones and rods” – can be REVIVED when they start getting enough energy again.

In this latest study, the red light energy source helped the retina’s “cones” see color contrast better… like the difference between red and green and between blue and yellow.

The average improvement of color vision in this study was 17% — but some older participants saw their color vision improve as much as 20%.

Previous research has also shown how red light improves how the “rods” can improve vision in low light settings.

It appears that the timing of the red light exposure is important – because the researchers behind this latest study didn’t find the same benefits when they exposed subjects to the red light in the afternoon as they did when they scheduled the exposure between 8 and 9 a.m.

And 3 minutes was just as effective as 45 minutes… which means longer exposure DIDN’T provide any additional benefits.

Now, this doesn’t mean you should put any ol’ red bulb in your bedroom lamp. The researchers used LED lights at a specific wavelength of 670 nanometers and a very low wattage of just 8 milliwatts.

That was to make sure it was safe enough for eye exposure… but strong enough to work.

Unfortunately, the specific devices that the researchers used aren’t sold commercially to the public just yet.

But the researchers behind the study are working on developing a consumer-friendly device – and even better, they have ZERO financial ties to any product that results from their work.

That’s a refreshing change, compared to all the drug studies out there that have been funded by Big Pharma!

Dispute Resolution by Binding Arbitration and Class Action Waiver
