A ‘tree bleed’ cure
The dragon tree (Croton lechleri) is native to South America… where it’s PRIZED for its red-colored sap.
Slice into the bark of this tree… and a blood-red resin will OOZE out…
As though the tree were bleeding.
This latex-based goo has been thus nicknamed “sangre de grado” or “dragon’s blood.”
While it makes for a great natural source of crimson-colored dye… even being added to varnishes for furniture and violins…
It’s MOST treasured for its healing powers.
You see, while dragons may be MYTHICAL creatures…
The health benefits of dragon’s blood are very REAL.
Applied topically, the sap can harden and provide a kind of “second skin” bandage to protect an open wound…
But it can also help that wound heal FASTER!
Practitioners of South American folk medicine also figured out that dragon’s blood can help SPEED wound healing when taken internally… especially when it comes to gastric ulcers.

In an in vitro study on human gastric and colon cancer cells in a lab dish, dragon’s blood INDUCED programmed cell death (a.k.a. apoptosis)…

It also BLOCKED the cancer cells’ ability to “stick together” and “latch on” to a new location.
And those effects were IRREVERSIBLE.
It appeared to work by TARGETING the microtubules of cancer cells – which is the same mechanism Big Pharma has had its eye on when developing cancer drugs.
Not surprisingly, the study showed that dragon’s blood’s effects were similar to those of the chemo drug paclitaxel!
And that’s not all.
In an animal study out of Mexico, an extract from the leaves of the dragon’s blood tree helped SHRINK tumors by as much as 59%.
Researchers have identified a plant chemical in dragon’s blood called thaspine… which appears to play a key role in its anti-cancer activity.
But this bloody latex is also PACKED with antioxidant pigments called proanthocyanidins… which is where it gets its red color from.
Now, the FDA already approved a version of dragon’s blood… called crofelemer… in 2012…
But ONLY for one very specific use (drug-induced diarrhea in HIV/AIDS patients).
So, your doc can’t LEGALLY prescribe it to you for any other condition.
