The key appears to be a substance that scientists identified over 40 years ago in the plant’s roots and fruits as thapsigargin.
In the decades that have followed, it’s been discovered that thapsigargin acts as a SERCA inhibitor…
Which means it DESTROYS tumor cells’ calcium balance… leading to endoplasmic reticulum (ER) stress in the cancer cell membrane.
That, in turn, INDUCES apoptosis — or cancer cell “suicide.”
