There’s a lot of talk these days about BOOSTING immunity… and STIMULATING an immune response to fight off infection…

But a lot of it is, in fact, just TALK.

Because to truly OVERCOME certain infections… especially those that cause CHRONIC and seemingly UNRESOLVABLE issues, like Lyme disease

Your immune system needs to be AT THE READY… with a STRATEGIC defense.

It can’t just “go gangbusters” – not without doing more harm than good.

Unfortunately, too many folks… like those with autoimmune diseases… find their immunity to be woefully out of balance.

And that can happen in cases of Lyme, too.

But LEVELING IT OUT may be just the thing that’s needed to GET BETTER, once and for all.

Fortunately, I’ve got just the thing…

The Goldilocks principle

You may have never heard of the bitter herb andrographis (Andrographis paniculata) from your doc or pharmacist…

But it’s been around since the earliest days of Ayurvedic medicine, a truly ancient healing practice.

This “King of Bitters” was first discovered AGES ago, growing in the forests of the Himalayas in the territory of the Kirata tribe.

In addition to Ayurveda, Traditional Chinese Medicine has also relied HEAVILY upon it for a variety of conditions… but most frequently for the common cold.

Yet its potential goes WAY beyond cold and flu season!

In fact, right now might be the PERFECT time to brush up on this herb

Because it could be a SAVIOR if you find yourself bitten by a tick this summer… and SADDLED with Lyme disease.

I pray that NEVER happens to you…

But you’ll want to be prepared if it ever does.

Because Lyme… caused by the bacterium Borrelia burgdorferi… is one of the sneakiest and hardest-to-treat diseases out there.

Many conventional docs are utterly STUMPED by it!

If they just gave andrographis a chance, it would CHANGE THE GAME for this infection that often REFUSES to go away.

You see, the key to its unique ability to ALLEVIATE some of the “mystery symptoms” of Lyme is primarily by ADDRESSING their root causes.

You know what I’m talking about – inflammation.

But this herb has powerful cooling action, thanks to an anti-inflammatory substance extracted from its leaves, called andrographolide .

This compound is what gives the herb its bitter taste… but that’s the LEAST of what it can do!

It helps DEFEAT Lyme by INHIBITING the pro-inflammatory activities of 2 key pathways, nuclear factor-kappa B (NF-κB) and COX-2.

That means that this cooling herb can help RELIEVE Lyme symptoms like swollen and painful joints (a.k.a. arthritic inflammation)… inflammatory skin conditions, like rashes… nerve pain… and more.

Now here’s where the actions behind this compound get a little complicated…

Because while andrographolide INHIBITS NF-κB to beat back excessive inflammation on the one hand…

On the OTHER hand, it also ACTIVATES NF-κB to stimulate the body’s natural defenses.

It may SOUND like these 2 actions CONTRADICT each other…

But in reality, they go hand-in-hand.

To fight off any infection… including Lyme… you need a BALANCED immune response.

I’m talking about just strong ENOUGH to deploy your disease-fighting troops

But not so over-the-top that you become CRIPPLINGLY sick.

The problem with many Lyme disease patients is that their immune systems haven’t been PRIMED to be ready for attack

And when they’re actively UNDER SIEGE, their immune armies come out with GUNS BLAZING and no battle plan in place.

Once that kind of firepower has been UNLEASHED… it’s really tough to rein it in.

Your infection-fighting forces can mistakenly BLOW UP the very thing they’re trying to PROTECT!

But andrographolide seems to be able to flip that inflammatory switch off at just the right moment to maintain the PERFECT balance in your immune response.

The result is helping REDUCE or even ELIMINATE your bacterial load… without burning the house down in the process.

You can find andrographis supplements in capsule or liquid form. A certified Chinese herbalist will know it better as “Chuan Xin Lian”… and Ayurvedic practitioners may call it “kalmegh.

Look for a patented extract sold under the name Paractin, which contains a standardized amount of andrographolide.

The recommended dosage for general inflammation and immune support is 150 mg, twice daily.

But if Lyme has already got you in its grip, your doc may suggest you take more. Work with him on what the best starting point might be for you.

To protecting ourselves from our own defenses,

Melissa Young

Meet the Health Sciences Institute

The Health Sciences Institute (HSI) is an independent organization established in 1998. We’re dedicated to uncovering and researching the most urgent advances in modern underground medicine. Things you WON’T hear about in the mainstream.

Whether they come from a laboratory in Malaysia, a clinic in South America, or a university in Germany, our goal is to bring the treatments that work directly to the people who need them. We alert our Members to exciting breakthroughs in medicine, show them exactly where to go to learn more, and help them understand how they and their families can benefit from these powerful discoveries.
