The 30-minute trick to enjoying your next meal… and HOURS free of discomfort after!

Everyday indigestion can strike at any time…

And all too often, it strikes at the WORST time!

Discomfort and other unpleasant and embarrassing symptoms can ROB you of the joy of eating a nice meal…

But you don’t have to let that happen.

Because there’s an ancient gut-calming trick that AIDS proper digestion.

It’s a staple food of the Mediterranean diet

And it’s also high in fiberlow-carbketo-friendly… and delicious!

Boosting belly health, in 4 ways

The artichoke (Cynara scolymus) is considered one of the oldest cultivated vegetables in the world… dating back to Ancient Greece.

It’s been used as a digestive aid since the Roman Empire…

And it’s still one of the most popular ingredients in the Mediterranean region today.

In modern times, though, the “artichoke capital of the world” is in this country – Castroville, California!

And the peak season for them is right now… March through May.

This vegetable is easy to digest, but that’s not all…

It can help you digest the rest of your meal!

That’s why folks have made a habit of STARTING meals with artichoke.

You see, artichoke contains an antioxidant substance that’s CRUCIAL for healthy digestion, called cynarin. It’s one of the ingredients in the artichoke-based liqueur, Cynar – which Italians SWEAR BY for its ability to help them digest a huge feast.

In Italy, they drink artichoke liqueur both before (aperitivo) and after a meal (digestivo), for good measure.

This substance, cynarin, works to BEAT BACK indigestion symptoms by stimulating your liver to produce of one of the most CRITICAL gastric juices.

I’m talking about bile. Bile helps your body absorb vitamins and other nutrients… like fatty acids… from the food you eat.

Improper absorption and digestion can cause gas and bloating, cramping, nausea, and even heartburn.

But according to research, artichoke extract can get your juices flowing… and bile pumping property… in just 30 minutes. And it can KEEP working for up to 2.5 hours after eating.

And in one study out of Germany, artichoke extract either reduced the severity of dyspepsia symptoms… or completely RESOLVED them!

It’s no wonder the participants also reported a marked improvement in their quality of life.

Artichoke is so healthy… and so powerful… that it does even more to SUPPORT and HEAL your gastric tract.

These are probably the 3 biggest factors that can influence your overall gut health… so NONE of them should come as a surprise to you.

Scientists have found that in addition to triggering healthy bile production… artichoke ALSO boosts your belly health by…

  1. FEEDING beneficial gut bugs with prebiotics (like inulin)
  2. NOURISHING your gut lining, reducing intestinal permeability (a.k.a. “leaky gut”), and
  3. BANISHING inflammation.

That’s a QUADRUPLE PLAY of belly benefits…

All from ONE humble vegetable!

Now, you can enjoy fresh artichoke “hearts” and leaves prepared several different ways – including steamed, boiled, baked, roasted, or grilled. There are lots of delicious-sounding recipes you can find online.

That way, you can benefit from its high fiber content – which can help your digestion stay running like a well-oiled machine. It can also keep toilet troubles at bay, too.

But if you’re struggling with occasional bouts of indigestion, you may not be able to eat enough artichokes to really make a difference in your symptoms.

And that’s where an artichoke leaf extract supplement steps in.

Just make sure it’s from a quality maker you trust – and standardized to at least 5% cynarins.

You’ll sometimes find artichoke leaf extract added to digestive enzyme blends or other digestive support formulas as well.

It’s not for folks with a bile duct obstruction… or with allergies to certain types of flowers (or echinacea).

Check with your doc before ever taking something new to make sure it’s safe for you to try.

To being indigestion-free,

Melissa Young
