They’re treating us like serial killers!

If you’ve ever refused a vaccine for yourself or someone in your family, you know plenty of doctors will act like you just committed a crime.

But things just got a lot crazier.

A research team claims it’s created a psychological profile — you know, like the ones the FBI uses to catch mass murderers — of people who skip vaccines.

It’s supposed to be a new psychobabble tool doctors can use to brainwash skeptical patients into falling back in line.

But it’s just the latest proof that, when it comes to why Americans are turning down these dangerous shots in droves, the mainstream still doesn’t get it.

The four Cs
When I learned about this new plan to psychologically profile vaccine skippers, I kept waiting for the crew from “Candid Camera” to pop out.

It’s that outrageous. And terrifying.

Three researchers, two from Germany and one from New Jersey, have just published a paper called Using Behavioral Insights to Increase Vaccination Policy Effectiveness.

It’s a bit of a tongue twister — but it has the entire mainstream medical industry buzzing.

The researchers are claiming that every person who skips a vaccine falls into one of four psychological buckets (and they even have some handy, mind-bending tricks to help your doc change your mind):

  • Complacence: That means you just don’t care. Getting vaccinated isn’t on your “to do” list. The solution? Your doc should scare the heck out of you with horror stories about what can happen if you don’t roll up your sleeves.
  • Convenience: You’re just too busy to get your shot. And the only solution is for your doc to teach you some self-discipline and remind you that he knows what’s best for you.
  • Confidence: This is their nice way of calling you a know-it-all. Your head has been filled with “incorrect knowledge” that has scared you off of the shots. Docs are supposed to debunk these so-called myths that are holding you back — and handle you with kid gloves.
  • Calculation: You’ve heard some scary things about vaccines, but you can’t “calculate” or sort it out for yourself (how insulting!). Researchers want your doctor to scare you some more, tell you how wonderful vaccines are, and even offer you incentives (lollipops, anyone?).

There they are — the four Cs. Well, I have two more Cs that these researchers must have forgotten — crazy and condescending.

As in, have you ever heard anything so crazy and condescending in your life? I mean, these guys want to make it impossible for you to have a rational conversation with your doctor without him psychoanalyzing you and asking about your relationship with your mother.

And for all the time and money these researchers spent putting this study together, it feels like they didn’t learn a darned thing about why people really refuse shots.

Well, if you ask me, there are four types of people who skip vaccines, all right. And I’ve come up with an even better acronym than the “four Cs.”

I call this LIFE — as in this is your life and your decision.

You see, there are millions of Americans who are turning down vaccination because they are:

  • Lied to: For years the mainstream claimed that the MMR, hepatitis and other vaccines didn’t have cells from aborted babies — and, as I’ve been telling you for more than a year, that’s a lie. It’s no wonder people don’t trust what’s in these shots.
  • Informed: The FDA receives over 30,000 reports of vaccine illness annually, with 13 percent being classified as “serious.” People have woken up to the fact that vaccines aren’t the safe bets that many docs and our government want you to believe.
  • Frightened: Girls have ended up paralyzed or even dead after getting HPV shots, such as Gardasil. And cases of Guillain-Barre syndrome, a serious immune disorder, triggered by the flu vaccine are on the rise. Many people are terrified of letting these shots anywhere near themselves or anyone they love — and with good reason.
  • Exercising their freedom: Let’s face it — our government and Big Pharma shouldn’t have the right to force any medication you don’t want into you or your children. Our founding fathers would be rolling in their graves if they saw some of the mandatory vaccination laws being passed in places like California and Rhode Island.

Getting vaccinated is a deeply personal decision for you and your family. And when you make a choice, it should be greeted with respect.

Not a trip to Dr. Freud’s couch.
