Diabetes alert: Why suffer with needles and drugs when you don’t have to?

It’s the same in just about every doctor’s office in the country. As soon as he says it’s officially “diabetes,” the Rx pad comes out.

And what follows is a blizzard of prescriptions flying off it.

It’s almost like you can hear the drug companies say “Ka-ching!” whenever someone falls victim to Type 2.

It’s like a reverse rite of passage. With every new diagnosis comes one or two diabetes drugs, and maybe a prescription for insulin. And these days, an order for a statin is nearly automatic. He might even throw in a blood thinner or blood pressure med, just to be on the safe side.

So one diagnosis and you leave the office with half a dozen prescriptions. And I don’t have to tell you, that means you’d be leaving with dozens and dozens of side effects.

But one of natural medicine’s latest darlings is about to derail the diabetes drug train. And it couldn’t be safer or easier.

Solving all kinds of problems

I have to admit, this new diabetes superstar sort of snuck up on us.

But we can’t really call it “new.” Natural docs have used it for centuries. We now know that it’s remarkable for controlling inflammation and pain. And there is even evidence it can help keep your memory sharp.

This superstar is curcumin — the bright yellow compound that gives curry its color — and flavor. But it’s power goes far beyond the Indian buffet.

It is a powerful antioxidant. Put that together with inflammation control, and you have the potential to solve all kinds of disease-related problems, even making your arteries function better.

And if that were ALL that curcumin did, that alone would be enough to make it invaluable to type 2 diabetics.

But recent trials have shocked diabetes researchers. Crunching the numbers, it looks like you only need about 500 mg of curcumin per day to push blood sugar down to healthy levels.

The evidence shows that this might take a few weeks to happen, but for some people, it’s a safe, effective alternative to drugs.

And insulin sensitivity will likely improve as well. That’s because curcumin appears to bring beta cell function in line. And those are the cells that store and release your insulin.

Now…these results aren’t guaranteed, of course. And we can’t say it will work for everyone. But it’s sure a much better option for coping with type 2 diabetes than a fistful of drugs and a bodyful of side effects.

Meet the Health Sciences Institute

The Health Sciences Institute (HSI) is an independent organization established in 1998. We’re dedicated to uncovering and researching the most urgent advances in modern underground medicine. Things you WON’T hear about in the mainstream.

Whether they come from a laboratory in Malaysia, a clinic in South America, or a university in Germany, our goal is to bring the treatments that work directly to the people who need them. We alert our Members to exciting breakthroughs in medicine, show them exactly where to go to learn more, and help them understand how they and their families can benefit from these powerful discoveries.
