They called it the “safe opioid.”

Doctors handed it out like candy for chronic back pain…arthritis… nerve pain…

And they promised us all that it was DIFFERENT from other opioids.

Less addictive. Fewer side effects.

It was all a lie.

A massive 2025 analysis just exposed the TRUTH about one of the most popular painkillers around.

It doesn’t work… it can damage hearts… and you may be taking it right now.

Mainstream medicine always had plenty of gall calling any opioid safe.

Especially while thousands of people were dying per year… millions were getting addicted… and billions were being paid out in lawsuit settlements.

But that’s what happened with tramadol. It was supposed to be the “safer” opioid – which is silly, of course, because it’s still very addictive.

And now we know for a fact it does more harm than good.

Researchers analyzed 19 trials involving 6,506 chronic pain patients.

This wasn’t some small pilot study. This was a massive Cochrane review—the gold standard of medical evidence.

Tramadol—our “safer” pain med—reduced pain by 0.93 points on a 10-point scale.

That’s below 1.0—the threshold doctors consider “meaningful improvement.”

In other words? It doesn’t deliver any measure of pain relief that you’d really notice.

But here’s the terrifying part…

Tramadol more than DOUBLED serious adverse events—a 113% increase.

Let that sink in. You’re more than twice as likely to suffer a SERIOUS health crisis while taking this drug.

And a lot of those adverse events involved the heart – things like life-threatening heart attacks or arrhythmias.

And remember… this is the drug doctors called “safer.”

It’s not safe. It’s a gamble with your life.

If you’re taking tramadol, talk to your doctor right away about this new research and other options available to you.

One of them is a natural remedy that works nearly TWICE as well.

The compound is palmitoylethanolamide—PEA for short.

It’s a fatty acid your body already produces naturally. Part of your extended endocannabinoid system.

And in a 2023 meta-analysis of 11 double-blind trials with 774 chronic pain patients, PEA reduced pain by 1.68 points.

That’s 81% better than tramadol.

But the real difference? The safety profile.

Across ALL studies—every single one—zero serious side effects were reported.

No cardiac events. No tumors. No addiction risk.

PEA is available over the counter as a dietary supplement. No prescription needed.

The effective dose from studies: 600mg of micronized or ultramicronized PEA twice daily.

You shouldn’t have to choose between living with pain or destroying your heart.

The “safe opioid” was never safe at all.

But you have other options – and you deserve to know about them.

To pain relief that actually works,

Meet the Health Sciences Institute

The Health Sciences Institute (HSI) is an independent organization established in 1998. We’re dedicated to uncovering and researching the most urgent advances in modern underground medicine. Things you WON’T hear about in the mainstream.

Whether they come from a laboratory in Malaysia, a clinic in South America, or a university in Germany, our goal is to bring the treatments that work directly to the people who need them. We alert our Members to exciting breakthroughs in medicine, show them exactly where to go to learn more, and help them understand how they and their families can benefit from these powerful discoveries.
