Here’s an easy way to instantly lose weight…if you’re a cartoon person

Would you trust a cartoon character with advice about dieting?

The folks who make Slimshots hope you will.

Slimshots is an appetite suppressant that’s currently being advertised with a cartoon woman who says she’s tried every conceiveable diet with no luck. But then she found Slimshots – “an easy, natural way to diet.”

She chirps: “I ate 30 percent less without even trying!”

Hilariously, as we see her hips shrink from a size 12 to a size 4, a disclaimer appears at the bottom of the screen: “Cartoon Dramatization. Results not typical. Real people require diet and exercise to lose body fat”

So if you’re a cartoon person, just knock back the Slimshots and wait for the cartoon sound effect that indicates you’ve instantly lost 30 pounds. But if you’re a real person – reality check – you’re going to have to watch what you eat and do more exercise than just tearing the lid off a Slimshot.

Hmmm…I wonder if there’s a special FDA division that oversees cartoon food and drugs.
