It was a lie designed to get you hooked on pricey weight-loss drugs for life…

But now they’ve been caught red-handed.

Mainstream doctors are getting hand cramps writing prescriptions for trendy GLP-1 drugs for weight loss.

And the promise is simple… just pop a pill or give yourself a weekly shot, and watch the pounds fall off.

But there was a catch…

If you ever dared to stop the meds, all of the weight would come rushing back.

From the moment you gave yourself that first shot – which can cost $1,000 or more – you’d be a customer for life.

The only problem? It was never true – and now we have proof.

Medical research company nference decided to give us a look at what was happening in the real world with real patients taking GLP-1 drugs.

You know… something different from the scare tactics we’re hearing from Big Pharma and too many mainstream “health experts.”

They tracked patients taking semaglutide (sold as Ozempic and Wegovy) and tirzepatide (sold as Mounjaro and Zepbound), watching how much weight they lost – and what happened when they stopped the drugs.

And I’ll let them tell you what they discovered – in their own words:

“Most patients do not experience significant weight gain following their last [GLP-1] prescription.”

In fact, nference found that:

  • Tirzepatide users were 2.6 times more likely to keep losing weight or stay at a stable weight – as opposed to gaining weight – once they stopped the drug.
  • Semaglutide users were 2.03 times more likely to continue losing weight or keep their weight loss stable.

Now, I know what you’re thinking… this can’t possibly be true.

We were assured that clinical trials… funded by GLP-1 manufacturers… showed that stopping GLP-1 drugs meant the weight would come flooding back, like a tidal wave of unwanted fat.

We’d just have to keep forking over our cash every month forever… or risk the consequences.

It was a trap to keep us hooked for life – but the ruse is up now.

And that’s a good thing. Because the side effects of GLP-1 drugs – like the headaches, stomach problems, and links to thyroid cancer – were scary enough.

But beyond that, we have no idea whether they’re safe for the kind of long-term use Big Pharma – and their accountants – were imagining.

The secret to shedding pounds doesn’t have to be complicated. Focus on real foods, like proteins, fruits, vegetables, and nuts – and stay away from that ultra-processed poison.

And supplements like gentian have been shown to stimulate GLP-1 naturally (we wrote about it in our January issue, which HSI members can access here).  You can find gentian online for about $20 a month – no scare tactics involved.

The Health Sciences Institute (HSI) is an independent organization established in 1998. We’re dedicated to uncovering and researching the most urgent advances in modern underground medicine. Things you WON’T hear about in the mainstream.

Whether they come from a laboratory in Malaysia, a clinic in South America, or a university in Germany, our goal is to bring the treatments that work directly to the people who need them. We alert our Members to exciting breakthroughs in medicine, show them exactly where to go to learn more, and help them understand how they and their families can benefit from these powerful discoveries.
