Pectin is a unique type of FIBER found in the cell walls of plants that can help keep you feeling fuller, longer.

But pectin unique to APPLES has emerged as an effective, natural supplement to prevent overeating and promote weight loss by helping DELAY stomach emptying.

How does it work?

To start, pectin is actually NOT digested by your body. So, it essentially adds bulk to your meals without extra calories.

And when combined with the water in your body, along with other stomach acids, pectin forms a gelatinous substance that initiates the feeling of “fullness,” and in turn reduces your appetite.

A study published in the Journal of the American College of Nutrition tested just how effectively pectin can signal satiety (feeling FULL).

The two-day study examined U.S. Army employees who were considered normal weight. The group fasted overnight on both days. On one day, participants were given orange juice mixed with pectin and were later given ice cream. On the other day, they were given orange juice without pectin, which was also followed by ice cream.

They found that, when pectin was added to the orange juice, the participants felt SATISFIED and FULL up to FOUR HOURS after drinking.

Another study, published by the National Library of Medicine, examined pectin as a tool to curb overeating in obese adults. The study found that, when 15 grams of pectin was added to a meal, study participants reported feeling FULLER compared to 15 grams of a placebo added to a different meal.

Now, pectin is NOT a magic potion that’s going to miraculously melt away pounds.

But, when incorporated with normal, healthy meals, pectin can help those meals last LONGER… keep you feeling FULLER… and prevent you from eating EXCESS calories throughout the day.
