‘Soothing’ plant beats mainstream LAXATIVES?
Friend, if you’re “backed up” you’ll do just about ANYTHING to get your insides moving…
Including reaching for one of those high-powered, over-the-counter (OTC) laxatives!
Sure, they help you “go”, but they come with a boatload of side effects that put your bowels through the WRINGER—from cramps, to bloating, and even diarrhea.
And then there’s the uber-strength stimulant laxatives that artificially stimulate your intestines, forcing stool out of your system.
But today I’ve got a better—gentler—solution.
ALOE VERA is synonymous with skincare.
But thanks to modern-day research, aloe vera has a new use…
It can be used as a gentle, NATURAL laxative for anyone experiencing periodic constipation.
While the ‘gel’ in the aloe plant is most commonly used for medicinal purposes, the outer portion of aloe contains unique compounds called anthraquinones. These have a natural, laxative effect by increasing the amount of fluid in your colon. They even help stimulate colon contractions.
And, get this, anthraquinones are an ingredient found in MANY mainstream laxatives and ‘stimulants.’
The problem is, Big Pharma has taken anthraquinones, synthesized them, and MASS-PRODUCED these compounds to ensure that their laxatives work too quickly… which often leads to the polar opposite of constipation—seemingly endless diarrhea!
But with aloe vera, you can get all of the ‘freedom’ that anthraquinones provide WITHOUT sending your colon into warp speed.
Your best bet to battle constipation is to go with aloe vera juice.
It increases the water content in your intestines, which is imperative for relieving constipation. It also helps normalize the healthy bacteria in your gut by keeping your healthy intestinal flora balanced, decreasing your chance of constipation.
If you decide to drink aloe vera juice, you don’t need to drink it frequently throughout the day. Once per day, following the serving size clearly listed on the product label, is all that’s needed to maintain regularity and healthy, hydrated bowels.
If you have a history of constipation or are on any kind of prescription medications, be sure to talk to your doctor first before supplementing with aloe vera juice.
