If the very sight or smell of ooey, gooey cheese makes you SALIVATE

Then, I’ve got some welcome news for you…

(No, it’s not that you can eat cheese with reckless abandon.)

The whole notion that even a nibble of cheese will cause your waistline to balloon is BOLLOCKS.

Let me explain.

According to a lengthy study published in the New England Journal of Medicine, eating cheese is essentially NEUTRAL when it comes to your weight.

Researchers looked at over 120,000 people for several decades and identified several foods tied TO weight loss.

These included meats, potatoes, grains, AND… cheese!

In fact, those who ate cheese regularly during the study showed a minimal inverse relationship between body mass and cheese consumption.

In other words, eating cheese in most cases was tied to weight loss!

But there’s more…

The study also found that increased dairy consumption led to increased lean muscle mass and a DECREASE in body fat!

So much for that whole ‘cheese makes you fat’ claim!

Now, this doesn’t mean you should eat a car battery-sized block of cheese. But it does give you the green light to indulge in moderate amounts of cheese and other dairy products from time to time without fretting about your waistline or health.

Cheese comes in all shapes and sizes, but generally a serving of cheese is about 1 oz. or about the size of a pair of dice.

A serving of whole milk is 1 cup, or 8 oz. And a serving of whole fat yogurt is also 1 cup. (Most containers of yogurt come in convenient 1 cup containers, which takes out the guesswork.)

So, if you do decide to enjoy dairy, stick to the recommended serving sizes and you should be just fine.

More cheese please,

Sarah Reagan
