If you or a loved one has been diagnosed with brain cancer

Everything goes from happy and healthy, to the FIGHT OF YOUR LIFE!

And to make matters worse, it’s one of the most aggressive—and deadly—forms of cancer… with survival rates often teetering BELOW 10%.

But today, I’m writing with some good news…

News that doesn’t involve the typical scorched-earth approach of chemo, radiation, or surgery…

No, this one is straight from Mother Nature!

Chinese skullcap (Scutellaria baicalensis) is an herb commonly used in traditional Chinese medicine.

For centuries, the dried roots of Chinese skullcap (referred to as Huang Qin in traditional Chinese medicine) have been used to treat a wide variety of ailments like diarrhea, insomnia, dysentery, high blood pressure, respiratory infections, and even chronic pain and inflammation.

Researchers believe that this herb’s diverse healing powers are thanks to a flavonoid called baicalein.

According to a study published in The American Journal of Chinese Medicine, researchers found that baicalein can induce cell ‘cleansing’ processes called autophagy—your body’s naturally process of “cleaning” up cells.

In this study, the baicalein found in Chinese skullcap activated the autophagy process, targeting and even KILLING cells linked to one of the most aggressive, deadly, and difficult to treat forms of brain cancer—glioma.

About 33% of ALL brain tumors are gliomas, and are sometimes called intra-axial brain tumors because they grow within the substance of the brain and often mix with normal, health brain tissue. As a result, they’re very hard to detect, treat, and eliminate.

But Chinese skullcap may one day help change some of these sobering statistics surrounding glioma (and all brain cancers).

When glioma cells were treated with baicalein found in Chinese skullcap, in recent lab studies, researchers found that baicalein not only induced autophagy of cancerous cells, but also activated the AMPK pathway (one of the most important signaling networks for cell growth in your body).

In other words, the baicalein unique to Chinese skullcap was able to clean up the toxic cells AND promote the growth of clean, healthy cells!

The findings of this latest study around Chinese skullcap and its potential anti-cancer properties are extremely promising, and researchers are hoping to use this as a major springboard for non-toxic treatments for advanced cancers!

In the meantime, Chinese skullcap is available in supplement form. But as with any supplement, be sure to talk to your doctor—especially if you’re undergoing any cancer treatments, or have a history of cancer.

To fighting brain cancer,

Meet the Health Sciences Institute

The Health Sciences Institute (HSI) is an independent organization established in 1998. We’re dedicated to uncovering and researching the most urgent advances in modern underground medicine. Things you WON’T hear about in the mainstream.

Whether they come from a laboratory in Malaysia, a clinic in South America, or a university in Germany, our goal is to bring the treatments that work directly to the people who need them. We alert our Members to exciting breakthroughs in medicine, show them exactly where to go to learn more, and help them understand how they and their families can benefit from these powerful discoveries.
