Friend, if you have type 2 diabetes, name a food that ISN’T off limits.

Go ahead… I’ll wait.

You see, too many folks living with diabetes are either saddled with a laundry list of blood sugar medications… or stuck eating foods that taste like cardboard.

And guess what? You STILL have diabetes!

But today I’ve got a little secret your tastebuds – and blood sugar – are going to love.

And it’s going to change everything you thought you knew about diabetes and diet.

Italian researchers have discovered that moderate levels of DAIRY – like milk, cheese, and butter – can prevent and lower the risk of developing type 2 diabetes.

But haven’t you been told that eating dairy is TERRIBLE for you? I mean, most mainstream dietary guidelines for diabetics tell you to steer clear of anything from an animal – including diary fat.

That’s a bunch of bologna! And this latest data proves it.

  • Drinking 200g/day of MILK lowered the risk of diabetes 10%.
  • Total dairy Eating 200g/day of TOTAL DIARY cut the risk by 5%.
  • 100g/day of YOGURT led to a 6% reduction in diabetes risk.
  • Eating cheese didn’t change the risk factor… but that means cheese won’t INCREASE your risk.

I’m not surprised at these findings… and neither should you.

Dairy shouldn’t be vilified. Studies have also found it’s good for your heart.

Full disclosure, this latest study noted that the findings were based on MODERATE dairy consumption.

So, don’t down a gallon of milk… or eat a block of cheese the size of a car battery.

But go ahead and have a glass of milk (8oz.) … or a container of yogurt (go with Greek yogurt – it doesn’t have a bunch of sugar).

It’s part of a balanced, nutritious diet that’s important when living with diabetes.

Be sure to talk to you doctor about any major changes to your diet.

To celebrating dairy,
Sarah Reagan
