The Centers for Disease Control (CDC) says that nearly HALF the adults in the United States have high blood pressure… most of them seniors.

Despite mainstream medicine’s ‘advances’, only about 1 in 4 Americans with high blood pressure have it under control!

And those facts are how most docs get you good and scared

They’ve backed you into a corner claiming that if you don’t act IMMEDIATELY, you’re a sitting duck for a heart attackheart failure… a stroke… and more.

Then they tell you the ONLY way to get your blood pressure under control is to blindly take whatever medication they scribble down on their pad!

But today I’ve got something different to share when it comes to treating high blood pressure (and it’s not fear-mongering).

It’s a simple, five-minute move that LOWERS your blood pressure… and it is proving to work BETTER than medication!

Researchers out of the University of Colorado-Boulder say that a five-minute ‘breathing’ workout can effectively lower blood pressure better than traditional exercise… or prescription drugs!

It’s called High-Resistance Inspiratory Muscle Strength Training (IMST) – a technique where a hand-held device provides resistance as you breath. In other words, as you suck in air, the tube tries to suck it back in.

IMST isn’t a new technology, but many docs have been using it the wrong way.

You see, in the past doctors have recommended using it for a grueling 30 minutes.

But this new study has found you only need to use IMST for FIVE MINUTES to lower blood pressure.

That’s practically the length of a TV commercial break!

In fact, researchers found that folks who used IMST for five minutes lowered their systolic blood pressure (the top number of your blood pressure reading) by an average of nine points.

Nine points may not seem like a lot, but researchers say this kind of improvement is BETTER than what most high blood pressure patients usually see from walking 30 minutes a day five days a week…

AND, it’s on par with results certain blood pressure-lowering drugs!

That’s incredible!

And here’s more good news…

IMST is a readily-available treatment option for high blood pressure. In fact, you can find breathing trainers to support IMST online or at most medical device retailers.

But before diving into IMST, be sure to have a conversation with your doctor first – especially if he insists that you take blood pressure meds.
