Your doc says your blood pressure needs to be brought down to keep hypertension at arm’s length…

And then he assures you, “Don’t worry, I’ve got just the thing.”

But when you take those pills he prescribed… and your numbers STILL aren’t where he wants them to be…

You’d better believe he’s got a DIFFERENT drug for you to try.

Some docs will even have their hypertensive patients taking MULTIPLE blood pressure-lowering drugs… AT THE SAME TIME!

If that happens to you, friend, you could be playing with FIRE.

But you don’t have to get BURNED by those meds… just to keep your BP numbers within a healthy range.

Here’s something else you could try.

Camu camu (Myrciaria dubia) is a sour berry that grows wild in the Amazon rainforest regions of Peru and Brazil.

It’s a POWERHOUSE when it comes to antioxidant and anti-inflammatory activity…

So it comes as no surprise that this “tropical trick” has been CHANGING THE GAME when it comes to fighting aging.

But camu camu has also shown serious promise when it comes to helping maintain healthy blood pressure numbers… and beating back hypertension.

A 2018 in vitro study revealed that camu camu extracts could act like an ACE inhibitor

But that’s not the ONLY mechanism that’s similar to Big Pharma’s BP meds.

In one animal study out of Japan, researchers discovered that camu camu extract could significantly reduce systolic (“top number”) and diastolic (“bottom number”) blood pressure measurements by REDUCING angiotensin II type 1 receptors (AT1 receptors).

That means that camu camu also works in the SAME way as drugs classified as angiotensin II receptor blockers (ARBs).

Problem is, those ARBs could be associated with some pretty gnarly side effects

Like diarrhea, vomiting, muscle cramps, back pain, a cough, and even confusion!

And, like other BP meds, they could work TOO well… and result in blood pressure dropping TOO LOW and causing symptoms like lightheadedness and dizziness.

Camu camu is different…

In fact, a 2018 study on real people showed that just ONE DOSE of it could help significantly improve blood pressure.

You probably won’t find camu berries at your local farmer’s market or produce section…

So look for a freeze-dried camu camu powder product that’s been standardized to contain a certain minimum percentage of vitamin C, ideally around 20%.

You can take it in supplement form… add it to smoothies… or blend it into other foods.

You may also find camu camu as an ingredient in “superfood” or “superfruit” formulas from quality makers. Check the label to be sure.

To your healthy blood pressure,

Sarah Reagan

Meet the Health Sciences Institute

The Health Sciences Institute (HSI) is an independent organization established in 1998. We’re dedicated to uncovering and researching the most urgent advances in modern underground medicine. Things you WON’T hear about in the mainstream.

Whether they come from a laboratory in Malaysia, a clinic in South America, or a university in Germany, our goal is to bring the treatments that work directly to the people who need them. We alert our Members to exciting breakthroughs in medicine, show them exactly where to go to learn more, and help them understand how they and their families can benefit from these powerful discoveries.
