Today, I’ve got the latest development on something that mainstream medicine considers a “four-letter word”…
But maybe shouldn’t have such a BAD reputation after all!
Dropping a tiny grenade into cancer cells
I’m talking about sodium chloride – a.k.a. salt!
I know this must surprise you.
The mainstream has instilled the fear of God into you… by saying even a little bit of salt in your diet could lead to high blood pressure, heart attack, or stroke.
And sure, eating EXTREMELY HIGH amounts of salt can be harmful…
But eating TOO LITTLE could be downright terrible for your body!
In fact, not getting enough salt has been linked to higher LDL and triglyceride levels and increased insulin resistance. It may even increase the risk of death from heart disease… heart failure… and type 2 diabetes.
And now, scientists have begun to UNLOCK the cancer-destroying potential of salt.
A University of Georgia study published in 2019 showed how sodium chloride nanoparticles (SCNPs) could be used to stealthily enter cancer cells and rip them apart from within, causing cell death.
Think of them as a kind of Trojan horse!
During this process, the immune system receives signals that there’s tissue damage, inducing an inflammatory response that helps the body FIGHT OFF an invasion…
Specifically, cancerous cells and tumors.
Animal studies have shown that this SCNP treatment could suppress tumor growth by 66%…
And, even better, cause ZERO damage to any organs!
Now, the theory is that this treatment would be best for localized cases of cancers… where the SCNPs could be injected directly into a tumor.
So, it doesn’t seem like it would be an option for a cancer that’s already spread.
But it’s exciting to hear about scientists using a non-toxic material to KILL cancer cells – especially considering how POISONOUS cancer drugs can be!
I’m also optimistic about innovations in cancer treatments that focus on HARNESSING the power of our own bodies to fight off the cancer… namely, by LEVERAGING our own immune defenses.
Now, this DOESN’T mean you should start reaching for that salt shaker at every turn…
And it DEFINITELY doesn’t mean you should try to treat your cancer with salt on your own.
