You wanna know how conventional medicine gets quick and easy attention?

Drop the C-word!

When people hear “cancer,” their ears perk up – because there are FEW things scarier out there.

And if you promise a new and easy way to STOP it… TREAT it… DEFEAT it… and even to PREVENT it…

Well, now you’ve REALLY got their attention.

I get it! My own ears popped up like a puppy’s at mealtime when I heard a new report that claimed to find a better way to fight cancer.

Then I read the details, and well… maybe I’m just paranoid.

Maybe I’ve got trust issues.

Or maybe… just maybe… I’ve seen all this before and know what’s REALLY going on.

I’ll let you decide in a moment when I share my theory.

SCARY new cancer link

The new report starts with the OTHER “C” word… the one most mainstream docs OBSESS over.

Cholesterol.

They claim high cholesterol levels allow cells to live a sort of afterlife. Instead of kicking off when they should, they stick around… cheating death, so to speak, which is not a good thing for cells in your body.

They’re SUPPOSED to die… then SHOULD get cleared out and replaced by fresh new cells.

When they stick around… that’s when tumors form.

The study suggests cutting cholesterol could SHORT-CIRCUIT that cellular afterlife… and PREVENT or even DEFEAT cancer.

But this wasn’t a human clinical trial.

It was an experiment in Petri dishes and on mice — USEFUL forms of research, sure, but NOTHING that should ever generate so much attention until it’s confirmed in people.

Yet it’s making BIG headlines.

So, now for my theory on the REAL reason this is getting so much attention…

The implication that cholesterol treatments can also fight cancer.

Statins have taken a huge PR hit because of all the dangers exposed in recent years. They’re TOXIC to the liver and kidneys… can  … and may even  .

And let’s not forget the BIGGEST danger of all: These drugs can cause diabetes!

I couldn’t think of a WORSE side effect for a cardiovascular treatment if I tried.

It’s like a painkiller that causes splitting headaches (OK, that’s actually real)… or an antibiotic drug that causes infections (oops, so is that one).

People are hearing about these side effects… or EXPERIENCING them firsthand… and REJECTING the drugs.

So this new report is like a politician going out to shake hands and kiss babies after being caught up in a scandal.

It’s simple image rehab.

Some people may see the news and think the drugs aren’t so bad after all – and some may even start taking them, hoping for this unexpected “side benefit.”

In reality, even if this benefit WERE true – and I’m skeptical it IS – I still don’t think the drugs are worthwhile.

I’ve got 2 good reasons:

  1. You actually NEED cholesterol — and blindly lowering your levels with a med can actually WRECK your health instead of saving it.
  2. All of those side effects I just mentioned, especially diabetes. Sorry, no amount of image rehab can change the fact that the meds can give you diabetes.

Here’s my own advice on cholesterol, and you can take it or leave it…

STOP obsessing over it. And certainly DON’T gobble pills to attack it based on a blood test measuring LDL alone.

You’ll get a much bigger health boost from a natural diet with limited carbs and zero processed foods (both of which, for my money, are BIGGER cancer triggers than anything related to cholesterol).

And don’t forget the basics for overall blood vessel protection:

  • L-carnitine (1,000 mg)
  • coenzyme Q10 (100 mg)
  • magnesium (500 to 800 mg), and
  • vitamin E as mixed tocopherols (400 to 800 IU).

Meet the Health Sciences Institute

The Health Sciences Institute (HSI) is an independent organization established in 1998. We’re dedicated to uncovering and researching the most urgent advances in modern underground medicine. Things you WON’T hear about in the mainstream.

Whether they come from a laboratory in Malaysia, a clinic in South America, or a university in Germany, our goal is to bring the treatments that work directly to the people who need them. We alert our Members to exciting breakthroughs in medicine, show them exactly where to go to learn more, and help them understand how they and their families can benefit from these powerful discoveries.
