BANISH restless nights with this sleepytime trick [Hint: It’s not melatonin!]
Listen, friend – no one would bat an eyelash if you admitted you haven’t been sleeping very well lately.
There’s plenty going on in the world that would keep ANYONE up at night.
You lay your head on the pillow… and a TSUNAMI of thoughts comes rushing in.
Or maybe you fall asleep… but wake up to feelings of PANIC.
Not getting your full 8 hours at night can make you feel like a ZOMBIE the day after…
And WORRYING about whether you’ll get any rest the next time you try could just start this vicious cycle all over again.
Imagine tucking yourself in… without a care in the world…
And getting that DEEP sleep you’ve been longing for… with ZERO interruptions.
It’s possible, thanks to a natural remedy that’s been used for MILLENNIA.
Turns out, this daytime “stress herb” could also be your nighttime HERO!
No more sleepless nights
You may already know ashwagandha (Withania somnifera) as a powerful stress and anxiety reliever…
Used for over last 4,000 years… most notably in the ancient medicinal practice of Ayurveda… it’s one of the best-researched adaptogens out there.
So, it should come as no surprise that while ashwagandha can CALM your mood… it can also help promote healthy sleep.
In fact, it’s right there in its scientific name — “somnifera” is Latin for “sleep-inducing.”
A recently-published study on real people showed how this ancient herb can benefit sleep… for “normal” sleepers AND insomniacs.
Taking ashwagandha over the course of 8 weeks helped study participants…
- fall asleep FASTER
- sleep LONGER
- sleep BETTER, and
- STAY asleep.
And it performed ESPECIALLY well in the subjects who needed it the most – a.k.a. those with insomnia.
This wasn’t just a one-off study in support of using ashwagandha for sleep.
In a previous clinical trial, the results MIRRORED these findings I just shared with you… and more.
That study also found that ashwagandha can help healthy adults get sleep that’s more restful… and feel more alert after waking up.
And the higher the dose… the more potent its sleep-enhancing action.
Now, researchers have attributed ashwagandha’s stress-relieving qualities to its content of withanolides …
But it turns out that this herb does more to help you sleep than just calm you down.
Recent research has revealed that ashwagandha also contains a substance called triethylene glycol… which helps INDUCE sleep.
The study I mentioned earlier got those astounding results from giving participants a special, high-potency version of ashwagandha — called KSM-66, standardized to 5% withanolides.
Compare that to regular ol’ ashwagandha supplements, which usually contain just 2.5% withanolides.
But even this more potent form of ashwagandha contains all the principles of the herb in the ratios found in nature… which ensures both its safety and efficacy.
KSM-66 is probably the PUREST form of ashwagandha on the market. It’s been certified organic, non-GMO, and gluten-free… and the FDA has granted it GRAS (generally recognized as safe) designation.
Studies support taking 300 mg extract twice daily – but be aware that taking it during the day could, in fact, make you feel sleepy.
To your sweet dreams,
Melissa Young
P.S. Anything that helps you get more restful sleep could help you BOOST your brain… but ashwagandha contains special “cognitive-enhancing” substances, too!
